Private Winter Trekking Experience in Bariloche

Tomas was awesome. My husband and I did a private hiking day with him. He is knowledgeable, kind, and personable. He took the time to get to know us and our abilities, and offered us options. He guided us on beautiful trails, took us to spectacularly scenic places, educated us on foliage, some history, and gave us a lesson on the traditional drink mate (MAH -teh) in an exquisite setting. We had the most amazing day hiking, conversing, and becoming friends. We even reached out to him after our hike for suggestions on more activities, which he helped us plan. Thank you!

Thomas answered all our doubts to have the best possible experience, considering our previous experience. We walked at our own pace, recognizing species and taking in landscapes. Definitely my favorite activity of the trip to Bariloche, I would go again to meet new trails. Thank you very much again!

This wasn't just one of the best experiences of our trip to Argentina. It was one of the best experiences of our lives. Tomás guided us on a beautiful and spiritual hike through the Patagonian national park. He was thoughtful, informative, and inspiring. (FWIW, his English is impeccable.) We learned about the history, nature, and culture of Argentina, and he provided us with awesome hiking recommendations for the rest of our trip. We recommend him as highly as possible.

The crossing was 4 days and 3 nights. We climbed with a fairly large group of 7 people (and 2 guides), at a time of quite a lot of snow. We were given the necessary equipment to complement what we already had and make the climb more enjoyable. The food included in the experience was very good, the attention was special to the smallest detail. I also recommend for its professionalism and knowledge of mountaineering and hiking, in addition to the very good wave

We made the crossing to redugio jakob. It was three days and two nights. The first day of the snow climb. The second day we dawned in the shelter, had super breakfast and went to the lagoon of the Tempanos and toured the vicinity of the shelter. There was a beautiful little fox. And the next day we went down. It was an unforgettable experience. Beautiful! Although it is a very frequented bariloche trekking route at that time it is totally covered with snow, so you need the equipment they provide you for the walk and all the co ocimie to the terrain since there is no well marked trail and parts meet with detours. I highly recommend doing it with a guide. We were 7.

Our hike through the 5 lagoons was one of the best trip I ever made. From the beginning Tomas was super communicative, making sure we were ready and checking on us regularly as the trip was getting closer. He was sure we had the right gear, landing us some if needed, answered all our questions and made recommendations on how to approach the hike. (Sleeping in hut, taking porteurs) The hike itself was so well prepared, and beautiful beyond expectation. Not too hard nor too easy. Truly perfect. We had two porteurs and everyone was so knowledgeable, helpful and kind. Already want to go back!
