Private Wine Tasting Tour With Personal Driver in Alsace

Our guide and tour business owner Jerome picked us up in a comfortable vehicle on time and fit in a coffee stop upon our request. We toured three first class Alsace wineries and visited a lovely hotel/spa restaurant for a lunch that I will try to reproduce at home. All three wineries were welcoming and opened bottles generously so we could sample their Alsatian wines. They seemed happy to let us sample their beautiful wines. We learned so much! They did not pressure us to buy, but of course, buy we did. We wish we could have bought more to take home to the US. DELICIOUS and priced so well. Jerome was flexible in timing, answered all questions, and later sent us additional suggestions for our remaining days in Ostheim. I highly suggest you let Jerome do the planning and driving for a stress free experience drinking wonderful wine and touring Alsace.

The driver was professional and helpful. The wine tours were great and he customized the tour to include time to visit Christmas markets.

We spent two days in Alsace touring vineyards. Jet one was very professional and knew tons about the area. The wineries he booked for us varied from large scale operations to small family businesses. The lunches he booked for us were amazing. I highly recommend booking with them for any of your vacation needs. He even went above and beyond by booking us dinner reservations and taking us to the train station on our way back to Paris. Thanks again for everything.

Viator cancelled 2 separate tours in the days leading up to our visit to Colmar, including the night directly before. They tried to rebook us for 3 days later when I repeatedly told them we would be leaving and that date would not work. Very frustrating as we had originally booked this tour 3+ months ago. Would not recommend

I made the mistake of staying in Colmar for (only) 2 nights over a weekend in September arriving mid-afternoon on Saturday. This left Sunday as our only full day. Approximately, 80% of the wineries are closed for tastings on Sundays. Jerome, based on some of my research and some back-and-forth emails, took care of arranging all winery visits, picked us up (early) & dropped us off at our hotel. He obviously knew his Alsace region, wineries, and never hurried us along. I recommend Jerome if you are looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, personable, no worries 1/2 day wine tasting experience.

The tour was wonderful! Jerome was great with the kids and very flexible with time. He understood that things are slightly more complicated with toddlers and made sure to make us feel like it was not a problem. Vineyards were beautiful and wine was delicious. Great experience!

An experience to recommend if you are going on a holiday to discover the city of Colmar. Jerome has a comfortable van, the ride is private and he is very precise and punctual. The first winery visited is family-run, excellent visit very careful in making you know their wine production. White and red wine tasting very very interesting. Unfortunately, the second cellar did not allow us the company visit, but only a short tasting. However we bought the wines, both white and red. Jerome allowed us to visit a beautiful village that was the birthplace of Pope Leo IX, a real gem to discover. I recommend the experience with Jerome.

Completely unprofessional. Received a cancellation 24h before without any explanation. I also tried to reach driver via txt, but too ashamed to reply I guess. The other way around I would have lost my money. Stay away from this activity. Some people should stick to what they are good at, this is not it. I would have understood if I received a call and a good reason and maybe an alternative solution.

We had really great time with Jérome. He picked us up at the hotel and took us to 4 different wineries, some of those were definitely hidden gems. He also booked a really nice restaurant for lunch on the way for us and stayed with us much longer than scheduled. At the end of the day he even called a few places and booked us a restaurant close to our hotel as we were finishing the wine tasting. Great experience!
