Private Wine & Evo oil tasting with Saffron Meal

Our experience at Podere Le Marronaia was outstanding . We visited in early January on a chilly rainy day . We were immediately seated in a lovely room right next to the fireplace . We were there for the olive oil, balsamic , wine tasting and saffron themed lunch . The cost was very reasonable , and we were even given a discount when I booked online weeks ahead . Thank you Rachele and also for your prompt responses to my emails !The entire afternoon was very relaxing thanks to Samuele . His manner was very professional & attentive. This was impressive , since there were at least 2 other couples and also a group of six in the room . Samuele led each of the private tastings & did so in an unhurried manner . He was knowledgeable , unrushed and his explanations were interesting and informative . Our compliments to Chef Patrizia for the incredibly delicious saffron themed lunch ! WOW ! . The servings were more than generous . We enjoyed the balsamic , olive oil and especially the wine tastings .Our favorite was the sparkling wine Piuma della Marronaia We ordered 4 bottles of the Piuma and 2 bottles of the Nottolo . Since 2009 we have visited Italy every year & that includes at least 10 wine tastings & some with lunch. Podere La Marronaia is our favorite , especially because of Samuele ! A huge thank you & compliments to Samuele who was outstanding, ! Samuele gave us an afternoon that we will talk about & remember , especially when we will be enjoying the wonderful wine . Wonderful experience with a nice staff, a family warm welcome and a prompt service. Great organic wines and food we enjoyed in a very nice garden with a beautiful Tuscan scenery. We all had some wines shipped home with a very fast delivery. We Highly recommend a visit.
