Best Italian Winery Experience
What a fantastic winery. We didn’t realize you should make a reservation. They took us in with open arms for a wine tasting, while trying different balsamic and olive oils. All were absolutely amazing! Our wine guide Sara was outstanding! She then brought us cheese to pair with the wines. Sara’s knowledge and presentation was outstanding and so interesting! Their wines are organic and absolutely fantastic! So good, that we ordered bottles to be sent home to the USA! Thank you Sara for a wonderful afternoon!! Highly recommend this winery!

Beautiful setting for wine tasting
This was a beautiful setting just outside the walls of San Gimignano. Our server was very knowledgeable and pleasant. The wine was delicious as was the olive oils in different flavors.

Exceptional Wine, Scenery and Tasting
Great chance to taste several wines along with food in an amazing atmosphere of grape vines and olive trees. Their Vernaccia wine was my favourite in all the wines I tasted in Tuscany.

Beautiful reality
It was our first time but it definitely won't be the last. Great Welcoming with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Abundant tasting of oil and wine illustrated competently and also excellent appetizers accompanying. Thank you very much for the wonderful experience and we hope to return soon.

Disappointment
In spite of the name Podere La Marronaia IS NOT A FARM!!!! If you expect to find the classic farmhouse overlooking the top of a hill surrounded by vineyards and poplars it is NOT for you... La Marronaia is actually a cute stone house located in a small town below San Gimignano surrounded by other houses directly on the road! The olive grove consists of a few trees and is currently used as a parking lot.. The vineyards are a few rows in front of the structure. . Certainly not as far as the eye can see, other owned vineyards are elsewhere. The cellar and the wine production area I don't know if there is... When we went we were told it was not open to visitors... In practice, the tour in the vineyard has resulted in taking in a few minutes four steps between the rows in front... The tasting of oils is wines is not itinerant but takes place at the table where they bring you a cabaret with 4/5 bottles of oil along with bread and 4 glasses of wine with a little bit of cold cuts and cheeses .. The guys who run it are young and kind, certainly with good will... But surely the place does not live up to expectations... Cute x a snack if you are already in San Gimignano... But certainly not a destination to put on the agenda!!!

Salve Valeria, leggiamo le tue parole sicuramente con molto dispiacere in quanto la nostra sede si trova effettivamente su una collina con le nostre vigne intorno e con il nostro giardino che si affaccia sulla vigna e sulle torri della città di San Gimignano. Ovviamente le vigne e le ulivete non sono solo quelle che potete vedere intorno alla casa, ce ne sono altre sparse intorno a noi. Per quanto riguarda l'uliveta, come sai a San Gimignano è molto difficile trovare parcheggio, per questo abbiamo deciso di fare una coccola in più ai nostri clienti fornendo loro anche il servizio gratuito di parcheggio in cui possono lasciare tranquillamente la macchina. Le vigne davanti alla struttura sono vigne medioevali, con la loro uva facciamo 4 vini diversi cioè la Visila (la nostra vernaccia), la vernaccia in Anfora, il Piuma e il Mille Colori, sicuramente ti abbiamo già spiegato tutto in degustazione ma ti dico questo per farti capire che non sono così pochi filari. La cantina è qui nella nostra struttura ma ci sono i nostri addetti a lavorare, quindi spesso non riusciamo a far andare i clienti in quanto preferiamo non disturbare il lavoro dei nostri ragazzi, tanto comunque durante la degustazione vengono spiegati tutti i vari passaggi. La degustazione si svolge seduti nel nostro giardino con vista su San Gimignano e sulle nostre vigne, questa è la nostra modalità di lavoro in quanto ci sembra la più congeniale alla nostra situazione, per altro non è scritto da nessuna parte che la degustazione sarebbe stata itinerante. Non ricordo quale esperienza abbiate scelto voi, giustamente il cibo che vi è arrivato va in base all'esperienza che avete comprato, sicuramente se vu avessi scelto il pranzo toscano avreste avuto le bruschette, il bis di primi, il tagliere e il dolce. Speriamo comunque di riavervi qui con noi per farvi cambiare idea, grazie mille Marronaia Family

FABULOUS TASTING DAY
Fabulous experience on a sunny day in the heart of Tuscany ...kindness warmth. Place on family condition. We had the pleasure of receiving the presentation of the wines from the sweet Davide who with his elegance and knowledge of the wines, made us feel at home and was able to frame our perfect day.

Great experience. Family business, young staff, very friendly and helpful. Beautiful visit to the vineyard and excellent tasting of wines and oils, accompanied by delicious bruschetta and cheese.
