- Head towards "Hawaii Apex Charters" at the end of the dock. As you are walking or driving down the dock, you will see a big ramp and sign on the right that says "Dock X", that is where we meet! Parking is $1 per hour along the sidewalk.
Description
Our Captain and mates have travelled all over the polynesian islands to experience other whale-watching tours and have used all the information we've learned from different cultures and tours to make this experience the best we can. We have travelled to Tonga, Tahiti, Mo'orea, Maui, Raiatea, and have worked in many of those places to be able to learn whale behavior and how to be the most respectful when we approach. We also offer professional photo and or video package: our photos has been awarded 1st place in Honolulu's Wildlife Magazine, as well as shown on the cover page of the book "The Ocean Speaks". Throughout the tour we'll be educating on Hawaiian culture and wildlife conservation. DISCLAIMER: WE CAN NOT CONTROL WEATHER CONDITIONS, OCEAN TIDES, AND OCEAN CURRENTS. We will never run in unsafe and unenjoyable conditions. Our boat is a center-console which means there will be a bit of splashing and wet zones which make for a thrilling experience!

Whale watching
Went on this tour with my girlfriend for my birthday. Came out from south shore and trip was close to 2 hours or so. Had a pretty fun experience on the waters and our captain was friendly to talk to. 10/10

Awesome experience
We went on the whale tour in April, and it was absolutely unforgettable! The crew was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure everyone got an amazing view of the whales. You could tell they really care about marine life. Perfect experience for anyone visiting between December and April when the whales are actually here — we saw several up close! Highly recommend booking during this season.

BEST WHALE TOUR EVER
Had the best time with the family seeing whales for the first time!! Was our big Christmas gift to ourselves and was the best decision ever!! A must do experience if you are hear during whale season! The captain was so engaging and fun!

Incredible !!!
Went with my boyfriend in February and our private experience was amazing! The guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. He really took the time to make it a special experience. One of the highlights of my trip, would 100% do it again!

Awesome small group whale watching tour with Hawaii Apex Charters
This past February my friends and I did a whale watching tour with Hawaii Apex Charters and it was such a great experience! On this tour you get an up-close look at the whales, which is such a special encounter. If you haven’t seen whales before, I really recommend doing this! I loved that there were only 6 people on the boat, compared to other boats that pack 30+ people on one tour. This made it a more personal experience for us. The crew was obviously very knowledgeable about marine life and shared educational information about the whales and other sea animals, and best practices on how to interact with the ocean respectfully and sustainably. If you’re visiting Oahu and want to see whales and amazing views from the water with an awesome crew, I would highly recommend booking Hawaii Apex Charters!

Saw 8 whales!!!!
Saw sooooo many whales. Saw one up close with a baby next to it. Really good time. Well worth the money. Holli was so fun to talk to and captain phil was great too
