Thank you, Alberto. You were very friendly and knowledgeable. We both appreciate you giving your morning to us.
Beautiful and personal tour of Montevideo!
Excellent tour of the old town in Montevideo. Clear instructions received from Alberto on the meeting point and he proceeded to provide an informative and interesting 3 hour walking tour of the old town (where the cruise tour buses cannot reach!). English was very good and would highly recommend the tour.
My husband and I did a one day private tour of Montevideo with Gonzalo as our tour guide. He was excellent and I would highly recommend him. Responded immediately when we were pre-planning, and once there , he was prompt and courteous and very knowledgeable about a wide cache of information that would be of interest to anyone travelling to Uruguay for the first time . I would highly recommend this tour with this guide .
A wonderful introduction to the old town of Montevideo, filled with lots of local history. Alberto was very knowledgeable and answered all of our many questions and gave us many suggestions regarding how to spend our remaining time in the area. Would highly recommend!
My wife and I took a walking tour of, well, the Ciudad Vieja guided by Alberto. He is a great guy and a wonderful guide. He speaks English and Spanish. He showed us the obvious sites but also the hidden gems, such as the Museo Andes 1972, which "is dedicated to the story of the crash of Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571 in the Andes, involving a group of Uruguayan rugby players, their friends and relatives that were traveling to Chile when the airplane crashed." We visited it later. He also introduced us to the Cabaña Verónica restaurant in the Mercado del Puerto, where we dined in a superb manner and learned of Medio y Medio wine. Alberto charged us $60 total for the tour but it was worth much more.
Alberto was super nice and very knowledgeable about the city, with really cool stories and facts that you probably wouldnt get on another tour. He was also super flexible to go where we wanted to go and stop and eat. Great experience!!
We did a walking tour of the old city in Montevideo with Alberto. He was an excellent guide: very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, spoke excellent English, made many good recommendations for other things to do while in the city, etc. He knows the city and its history well and he brought it to life for us. He also did a great job of answering our many questions.
Alberto was fantastic! Very friendly and knowledgeable. W enjoyed learning about the street art in Montevideo.
Thanks Veer and family. It was great that you mentioned that your family liked music so I could take you to a drum class.
Alberto was a charming tour guide. He kept in touch well before meeting up and was very reliable. His knowledge about all sorts of things was excellent and he knew the answers to all our questions. We felt we got a really good over view of the history of city.
