We had a magnificent evening at Uluwatu, starting by visiting the temple. Our guide Gede took the care to explain everything about their culture to us.. Then we were able to attend the Kecak dance, which was superb and original without instruments.. In short, it was a breathtaking evening to do again next time in Bali ❤️❤️

Our visit to Uluwatu Temple with Gede was an unforgettable highlight of our Bali trip. Gede was exceptional, he made the experience both enjoyable and meaningful. His guidance around the temple monkeys was especially appreciated, helping my daughters feel safe and relaxed throughout the visit. The temple’s dramatic cliffside setting and breathtaking ocean views were simply stunning. The Kecak Dance at sunset was pure magic, with its unique performance, spectacular atmosphere, and unforgettable backdrop. To end the evening, we enjoyed a lovely dinner by the beach, combining delicious food with a beautiful seaside ambiance. A perfect experience from start to finish. Thank you, Gede, for your kindness and for making this day so memorable. We highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic and exceptional Bali experience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Me and my family booked this trip and it was nothing short of AMAZING . Our tour guide was Gede and he was an absolute angel . Very informative with phenomenal hospitality! He answered all of our questions . The fire show was a 10/10 and the dinner on the beach was breathtaking! They even had fireworks it was truly a lovely evening ! 100/10 definitely would recommend!
We had a wonderful experience with Gede, driver and guide all in one! We were so grateful to have him with us on our tour at Uluwatu temple with all the clever monkeys trying to steal tourist phones and glasses. Our brave guide was able to retrieve the valuables for the guests. He warned us appropriately so luckily our group did not get attacked. Gede made sure we were well hydrated in the heat and always have pearls of advice for the best view, the best angle and best overall experience of the local culture, dance, foods and bazaars. We appreciated his guidance and punctuality through and through.
I highly recommend Gede Putra to anyone visiting Bali. He is professional, polite, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the island. What really stood out was his genuine kindness and willingness to help with everything, always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying our trip. His positive attitude and local knowledge made our experience much more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a reliable and trustworthy guide, Gede is an excellent choice. Thank you, Gede, for making our Bali trip so memorable!
Ask for Gede. He Made This the Best Tour of Our Entire Bali Trip. We spent over two weeks exploring Bali and booked multiple private tours, but this Uluwatu tour with Gede was the experience we’ll remember most. The sights are incredible, but what truly made this day special was our guide, Gede. From the moment he picked us up, Gede was warm, professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making sure our family had an unforgettable day. Traveling with two children can sometimes be challenging, but he connected with all of us and adjusted the pace perfectly. We never felt rushed. Uluwatu Temple is stunning, but Gede brought it to life by explaining the history, Balinese Hindu traditions, and the significance of the temple in a way that was engaging and easy to understand. Instead of simply walking us from one viewpoint to another, he helped us appreciate what we were seeing. One of the biggest reasons I’m writing this review is because of how much local knowledge he shared. Before entering the temple, Gede explained exactly how to avoid having our belongings taken by the famous Uluwatu monkeys. We watched several tourists lose sunglasses and hats while our family had no problems because we followed his advice. He also knew the best locations and timing for photos. Many of our favorite family pictures from Bali were taken by Gede, and they are memories we’ll treasure for years. The sunset at Uluwatu Temple followed by the Kecak Fire Dance was breathtaking, and Gede made sure we had excellent seats and understood the story being performed. Having someone explain the cultural background transformed the performance from entertainment into something truly meaningful. Throughout the day, Gede was happy to answer every question we had about Balinese culture, religion, food, family life, and places to visit. By the end of the tour, he felt less like a guide and more like a friend showing us his home. If you’re considering a private Uluwatu tour in Bali, my advice is simple: book this tour and request Gede if he’s available. He turned what would have been a beautiful sightseeing trip into one of the most memorable experiences of our entire vacation. Five stars aren’t enough. Thank you, Gede, for making our family’s visit to Uluwatu so unforgettable.
We did the Uluwatu Temple, Sunset Dance and Jimbaran Dinner with Gede. He is such a wonderful guide!! As a Balinese national, he is incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Indonesia and was happy to explain the Balinese cultural practices and had some really funny stories about pre marital practices 😉 He used to be a private butler for high end villas so he knows all the tips and techniques to get the best of the tour and will also take the most amazing photos of you and your group. He knows all the perfect spots to avoid crowds and get the best view and the secret to how to avoid the monkeys! Gede is such a genuine person and was so cheerful even after a long day of driving. Will absolutely book him the next time I need to see a different side of Bali
Excellent service from Mr gede! If we come back sure we will contact him again!
If it weren’t for Gede’s instructions on how to best protect our belongings from the monkeys, we would have been one of the others. We saw three phones, two hats, and two sunglasses be snatched! But all of our own belongings were under lock and key. Gede knew exactly where to park, walk, and exit to see the best views, and beat the crowd. It made an exhausting trip relaxing. The fire dance was very cool to watch at sunset. The history of it made or later visit to the Yana wood carving more exciting. Many of the statues were of the same stories. Because we had a little extra time, Gede made a pit stop at the “Cat-poo-ccino” Kopi Luwak experience. The variety samples that come with a purchased cup were delicious. You’ve got to be able to say you’ve drank it once!
Ari was an absolute gem and made our day trip to Uluwatu one of the highlights of our Bali holiday. From the moment he picked us up, his warm and friendly personality immediately put us at ease. He is such a genuine, honest, and professional driver — qualities that really stand out. What impressed us most was Ari’s deep local knowledge. He timed everything perfectly so we could enjoy Uluwatu without rushing. Ari also took complete care of organising all the entry tickets, effortlessly guiding us past the long queues so we could maximise our time at the stunning locations. His honesty and transparency with pricing and everything else gave us total peace of mind. If you want a reliable, knowledgeable, and truly kind private driver in Bali, look no further than Ari. We couldn’t recommend him more highly — he turned a simple transfer into a memorable experience. Thank you, Ari! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
