Discover these famous ruins of Tulum because they are the only ones located in front of the crystalline waters of the Caribbean Sea. Tulum in ancient times was an important port used by the extensive commercial network of the Mayans, since here the commercial, maritime and terrestrial routes converge. After the guided tour we will enjoy free time to take some photos.

We bought the excursion because they had told us it was private and that they would take us by boat to the turtles. The reality was that it was a van full of people, there were 17 of us... more than 1 hour picking up and dropping off people. Tulum was fine, but we had to swim more than half an hour to get to the turtles. There were elderly people and minors who, out of fear, decided not to go into the water with the turtles or into the cenote, which was enclosed and deep. They got angry and practically forced us to do it. They took photos of us that they pressured you to buy, and if you didn't, they forced you to fill out a survey in front of everyone and said, "Oh, so you don't want the photos... everyone takes them," and it was an additional €100 charge. I do not recommend it because of the methods and insistence on purchasing photos.

Very, very beautiful and interesting, the guide was very knowledgeable, and I would do it a thousand more times; the cenote part was beautiful and the water was rejuvenating.

I took this excursion with my family; it was a beautiful experience, and swimming with the turtles is very evocative. Swimming in a cenote is a must if you come to Mexico. Erika the guide is very well-prepared; she will tell you everything about the life of the Maya. A thank you also goes to the driver Jorge, who will accompany you throughout the excursion with a big smile.
