I went with Nail from Petra to Wadi Rum because my hotel put me in contact with him, and the truth is that everything was very good; he arrived 30 mins early even before what was agreed upon and we had a good conversation until the destination. Very good compared to all the transport I have taken in the country, the car was clean, the driver was pleasant, and you can also pay with a card, which I have seen in few others in Jordan. Regarding comfort compared to taking public buses or shared transport, I recommend it for the flexibility and convenience to maximize the time you spend visiting.

We were incredibly fortunate to have Nael Fdoul looking after us during our trip through Jordan. He picked us up from Amman and helped us have a wonderful experience at the Dead Sea, before taking us onwards to Wadi Rum, Little Petra and Petra. From the beginning, Nael was reliable, thoughtful and genuinely interested in making sure that we experienced the very best of Jordan. He was much more than someone simply taking us from one destination to another. His local knowledge and advice added enormously to our experience, and he consistently went the extra mile to help us. When my phone charging cable broke while we were in Petra, Nael went out of his way to help me find and buy a replacement. He also took us to some lovely local restaurants for dinner in the evenings—places we probably would not have discovered ourselves. These small but thoughtful acts made travelling in an unfamiliar country so much easier and more enjoyable. We were also deeply touched by his generosity and hospitality. He surprised us with a beautiful selection of Jordanian coffee, dates and biscuits as a gift. It was completely unexpected and a lovely reflection of the warmth and generosity he showed us throughout our journey. By the end of our time together, Nael no longer felt like our driver. He had become a friend. We have remained in touch since returning home, which perhaps says more about our experience with him than any review could. I would wholeheartedly recommend Nael to anyone travelling around Jordan. He helped make our journey through the Dead Sea, Wadi Rum and Petra truly memorable. If I return to Jordan, there is no one else I would choose to travel with.
