DO NOT BOOK THIS AIRPORT TRANSFER!!! Our flight was delayed arriving into Newark due to storms in the area. There was a ground stop at the airport with very few planes able to arrive or depart. We were diverted to Pittsburgh 3 hours into a 4 hour flight. On arrival in Pittsburgh I messaged them at 18.15, to advise of the delay and I would advise as soon as we knew any update. Our flight was meant to arrive at 18.16 into Newark, at 19.31 I received a message saying that the driver had waited 3 hours for our party and left (even though I had previously advised arrival flight details (number and time), that we would have checked luggage and have to go through customs and passport control. After a prolonged back and forth the gist was that the driver was at home sleeping at 20.00 and would not be able to pick us up as he had already waited at the airport for 3 hours. And they were charging us the full price of €142 as a no show fee, even though as an airport transfer they should have been following the flight and issues at the airport that night. I have booked many airport transfers over the years and never been charged a no show fee for a delayed flight! They did not provide a refund. Instead offered a reduced fee of $90 for our actual arrival, which of course we did not go for. We got a wonderful uber when we arrived which cost $120 including tip. I booked this through Tripadvisor believing their reputation to not allow something like this to happen. Clearly I was very wrong and will not book through them in the future. SO DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AS THEY WILL CHARGE YOU A NO SHOW IF YOUR FLIGHT IS DELAYED!!!
Hello travel, we respect your feedback and poor review. We had assigned a driver 1 hour prior your arrival and he was at the airport waiting for you already. Last minute cancelations are not refundable, especially for airport transfers and tours. This policy is clearly stated at the moment of purchasing the service. Your flight was not only delayed, it was diverted in flight to a different City and State. We are truly sorry that you had to go through all of that, and again, we respect your opinion and feedback.
Great ride, friendly driver. He was prompt and polite. Our driver was very careful and calm. The vehicle was very clean.
