What a wonderful experience today when Cathy and our driver Liang picked us up from the Tianjin Cruise Port to take us to our Beijing Hotel. Along the way Cathy gave us a cultural history lesson about China and its creation, ancient China as against the new modern China, along with the history of the Chinese written language, with some examples or words and how they are formed. Cathy pointed out lots of points of interest along the way to keep the drive from being boring. Her incredible knowledge and infectious laugh was a bonus we were not expecting, but thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated. Also, Cathy’s English was very good. The car was a new, beautifully clean Buick, and so very comfortable; including water to keep us hydrated. We would thoroughly recommend Metro Tour.
