We had a wonderful experience with our driver, Pasquale Santarpia, on our transfer to Positano. Because our pre-cruise sightseeing plans in Rome had been completely derailed by a missed connection, we were able to arrange a quick three-hour tour of Rome before continuing on to Positano. Pasquale made the most of the limited time we had. He dropped us off conveniently near the major sights, and each time we returned, he was already there waiting for us — even when we arrived back earlier than the arranged time. He also graciously accommodated a special request to stop at a gluten-free bakery in Rome, which we really appreciated. On the way to Positano, Pasquale recommended a stop for dinner and a wine tasting, and it turned out to be one of the unexpected highlights of our day. It was a wonderful recommendation and made the transfer feel like part of the vacation rather than simply transportation from one destination to another. The vehicle was very nice, exceptionally clean, and completely non-smoking. We were traveling as a group of five with quite a bit of luggage, so we had been concerned about space, but there was enough room for everyone and all of our bags. Pasquale was professional, punctual, accommodating, and thoughtful throughout the entire day. After the travel disruptions we had experienced earlier in the trip, having such a smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable transfer was especially appreciated. We would absolutely recommend Joe Banana and our driver, Pasquale, and will happily book with this company again.

Incredible Driver for our Long Distance Transfer!
What an amazing driver we had for our transfer! If you are in Italy, anywhere in Italy, & need an incredible driver call Joe Banana & request Catello Buonocore. He had a great personality!!! He engaged in conversation when we wanted to talk & allowed us quiet time when we wanted to nod off for a little bit of time. He was extremely knowledgeable. He took us to a great spot for lunch at a vineyard & we had an incredible meal with beautiful views! We visited the southern part of Italy this time & we were asking questions about the northern part of Italy. He gave us a lot of great information. When we return & visit Tuscany, we will rent a villa & we will hire him for our Driver for the entire time. You could not have asked for anything more than incredible Catello!

So worth it!!!
We had a private transfer from our apartment and going to our place in Praiano with Catello. He had great communication that morning and we even arranged for a two hour stop in Pompei with a private guide. Catello did not rush us and even suggested a spot for us to grab lunch in Pompei before continuing on to Priano. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and super fun. We actually ended up having him for two other tours, but this day ended up being absolutely perfect. I can't imagine traveling from Rome to the coast any other way now. Catello made the trip so easy!

This was the best trip! Use Joe Banana!
The Joe Banana team is excellent. Everyone on the team gives you first class service from the beginning to the end. Danilo was our driver and he is the best! Maria checked in with us to make sure everything was going well. All the tour guides were very informative. Emanuela was the best Rome guide. We got to skip the lines with her. Paelo kept making me laugh - he was so comical but very informative. He anticipated what we wanted. He and his brother own the company and make sure you are happy. Danilo customized our trip each day in case we wanted to do something different. Francesca was terrific. She was in Florence. She even got me a wheel chair when my feet started to hurt. I didn't even ask her to do that. Alex took us to the airport in Venice and if we didn't have him, I don't know what we would have done. He helped us so much. This team helped us from beginning to end. We would not have enjoyed Italy without them. I can't say enought about them. It's worth it! Use this team.

Easiest trip ever!

Great private transfers
Our private transfers with our driver Danilo were fantastic! He was so nice and funny and got us to our destinations safely and in a timely fashion. He was very helpful with information and found us a good place to stop whenever we needed it. We were a family of 8 people and the drive from Positano to Tuscany by way of Pisa was great! He was our driver again a couple days later as we went to Florence and Rome. The private van was comfortable for everyone and we all had a great time. He made our trip even more memorable!

Excellent Transfer with Ferdi – Highly Recommend
We used Joe Banana Limos for a transfer from Positano to Rome, and everything was seamless. Our driver, Ferdi, was punctual, professional, and friendly. The E-Class Mercedes was clean and comfortable, and Ferdi’s driving was smooth and safe the entire way. He made the long ride relaxing, offering helpful tips and conversation when we wanted, but also gave us space to unwind. This was the perfect, stress-free way to wrap up our Amalfi Coast trip. Outstanding service for transfers and tours
We used Joe Banana Limos seven times during our recent tour of Italy, and I honestly can't recommend them highly enough. From airport and cruise port transfers to a full-day guided Amalfi Coast tour and a transfer from Rome to Sorrento with a stop in Pompeii, every experience was seamless, professional, and incredibly enjoyable. The guided tours of Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast (visiting Ravello, Amalfi, and Positano) were true highlights of our trip — informative, well-paced, and absolutely breathtaking. Our standout driver was Catello, who handled four of our journeys. He was not only punctual, knowledgeable, and thoughtful — he also had a fantastic sense of humour that made every trip entertaining and memorable. We genuinely looked forward to seeing him each time! Behind the scenes, Nunzia was a superstar — helping to coordinate all our bookings and remaining available even outside business hours to answer questions and make adjustments.
