Private Tour of Stonehenge and Salisbury Cathedral

Peter was our tour guide and did an amazing job. He is extremely knowledgeable and has a great teaching style. I learned a lot from him. Came with teaching aids and well prepared.

Peter was absolutely awesome. He is incredibly knowledgeable, hilarious, and his insights on Stonehenge were immense. We even got to crack a few alien jokes with him and had him rolling with laughter. From there, our drive through Salisbury (which we couldn't stop calling "Salisbury Steak") was beautiful. Even though we skipped the extra stop we had discussed, we didn't care at all because Peter's fantastic attitude and honesty made the whole experience feel complete. He also went out of his way to make my godson feel special... you know, the "alien" in question. We actually skipped the pub because the alien demanded McDonald's, and honestly, we were all perfectly fine with that. Our conversations covered everything from deep history to great laughs about politics and religion. Plus, getting to see the pub from Ted Lasso was an amazing bonus! The New Forest was stunning as well, and Peter just tied the whole day together perfectly. Thank you so much for helping me set this up for my sister and godson. We had a spectacular time. If and when we return, I will absolutely be contacting you again. 10 stars all the way!

We did a great tour of the Stonehenge in the inter circle, Peter our guide came fully prepared with an outstanding knowledge of the site, history, and cultural facts of Stonehenge. The weather was about as worst it could be short of a full on cyclone, but Peter kept up fully engaged on the site and kept on explaining all the inner workings and hidden features of the site. In between we went for a nice English breakfast at Lacock and received a nice personal tour of the area. At Salisbury Cathedral, his knowledge did not again waiver and was fully briefed on everything in the cathedral, including how the weight was bending the marble columns. Peter’s conversation while driving was awesome going from and to each site on everything English and we conversed on things American as compared to English. Having visited nearly all US States and over 160+ US National Parks, he is one of the 2 best tour guide I have ever had.
