professional, fun, and so informative!!
I had the BEST time touring the Our Lady of Guadalupe Basilica with Laila!! She was early/on time for my early morning pickup (7am) - I appreciated the fact that at no moment did I have to wonder about logistics! I appreciated the clear, thoughtful communication from the staff while confirming the reservation, too. At the Basilica, Laila shared a TON of interesting stories and information about the different churches onsite, the pilgrims who visit, and the history of everything we saw. We moved at a comfortable pace and saw more than I would have imagined possible for one visit. Aside from the Basilica tour, Laila shared a bunch of thoughtful recommendations with me based on my interests she noticed during the tour. I recommend Pies Descalzos and Laila MOST highly!! If you’re interested in making the most of a visit to the Basilica, you must book with them. I also recommend the 7am start time to beat the crowds and heat. A wonderful morning!

Our Lady of Guadalupe Tour
Our guide for this was fantastic. We left early in the morning to avoid the crowds and he was very specific and answered all of our questions. He showed us all of his favorite spots as well as went at a slow pace and made sure that we saw all the things we were interested in. He was flexible, informative and made the day what we wanted. Would definitely schedule with him again.

David was an outstanding guide. Very knowledgeable and proud of his country and this holy site. His passion made for an excellent tour, he went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. He even treated us to a bottle of holy water and a candle at the end of the tour. Thanks David!

Title: A Truly Meaningful Visit to the Basilica with an Outstanding Guide Our private tour of the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe with our guide David was one of the most impactful experiences of our trip to Mexico City. First, David’s English was excellent, which made it very easy to follow his explanations and ask questions throughout the tour. His knowledge of the history and religious significance of the basilica complex was incredible. As he walked us through each of the churches and temples, it genuinely felt like we were walking in the footsteps of Juan Diego. The details he shared helped bring the entire story and setting to life. Without David’s guidance, we would have missed so many important elements and likely would not have fully understood the significance of what we were seeing. His ability to explain the symbolism, history, and context of each site made the entire experience far richer than simply walking through on our own. One of the most special moments of the day was attending Mass together at the basilica. It was an incredible surprise that the Archbishop himself celebrated the Mass, which made the experience even more memorable and meaningful. David also kindly took us to a store where we could purchase religious items that were authentically made in Mexico, which we really appreciated. If you are visiting the Basilica and want a deeper understanding of its history and spiritual significance, we highly recommend requesting David as your guide. He is knowledgeable, thoughtful, and truly made our visit unforgettable. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
