When I decided to travel to China, the main goal was to experience as much as we could in 10 days and not get lost in translation. This was the main reason for choosing a travel agency. Joyce Tang and TCT customized my dream trip for me. I am a great fan of Chinese entertainment- from the captivating dramas to wonderfully performed historical pieces. My journey began in Hangzhou where I met my guide Dana and experienced West Lake and the Riverside filled with both past and present cultural activities. I then proceeded to Hengdian Studios which was the site of many of my favorite tv series were filmed. Knowing that I was walking where they filmed made me starstruck! Dana is such a great friend that she even gave me an update on my favorite actor Xiao Zhan who filmed at Hengdian. Then I met up with Esther at Zhangjiajie. Wow! What an experience to walk, climb, zip line, slide, traverse those mountains, Heaven’s Gate, Avatar, the sky bridge, etc.. Each day was better than the last! Esther, you rock! Lastly I met with Allen who opened up the city of Chongqing to me. He let me see the secret areas where I experienced the highlights of the city up close and personal. The best thing about this trip was how Joyce planned every aspect of it. She ensured not only my enjoyment but my safety. I am 68 years old traveling alone thru China speaking very little Chinese - even my fellow train passengers were impressed. I love China and will be back many more times during my lifetime. She did a remarkable job in the arrangement for our family to see all these places in the short time we have without us feeling being shortchanged and hurried in any time. I will definitely recommend that you plan your trip with TCT consultant to assist you to have the best time without the hassle of thinking how to do it your selves. The tour guides,Ryan, Susan and Rio, were really Amazing, courteous and very professional. They were very polite and on time, always waiting for us, at least 15 minutes before departure. We had such an amazing experience with the tour guides. I highly recommend TCT.
