9:00 am: Departure to the south of the island to see the beautiful dunes of Playa Del Ingles. We will stop in a magnificent viewpoint at the Riu Palace Hotel. The Maspalomas dune system is a unique wilderness in the Canary Islands because of its beauty and diversity of ecosystems. Its 400 hectares, protected by the Canary Government as a nature reserve of special value, include a fantastic beach, a dynamic sand dune system, a palm grove and a brackish lagoon. This mix of desert and oasis is located at the southern tip of Gran Canaria and is surrounded by the famous seaside resort of Maspalomas.
Mirador Degollada De La Yegua

Departure for a viewpoint (Mirador in Spanish) from which you will have a spectacular view on one side on Playa Del Ingles, its dunes and lighthouse and on the other to the magnificent Fataga ravine.
Fataga

Departure for Fataga. This peaceful village perched in the heights of a valley is composed of small well-preserved white houses, small narrow and flowery alleys. It is surrounded by ravines, pine trees and a provided and unique palm grove. Stop in Fataga and short walk in the village.
San Bartolome de Tirajana
Pass by
Route to the village of San Bartolome de Tirajana located at 890 meters above sea level. We will visit the village church consecrated in 1922.
Tejeda

Continue the road to the small village of Tejeda which received the award from one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. Walk through the village and visit the church dating from 1921. Lunch in a typical restaurant with local Tapas (meals not included in the tour price).
Cruz de Tejeda
15 min
We will then take the road to Cruz de Tejeda where we will have (if there are not too many clouds) a magnificent view of Tenerife and the Volcano “El Teide”, the highest peak in Spain (3715 meters above sea level). Cruz de Tejeda marks the geographical centre of the island. Stop to take pictures and admire the landscape.
Pico De Las Nieves

We will then take the road to Pico de las Nieves the highest point in Gran Canaria. To appreciate the essence of a place and soak up its atmosphere, nothing better than to get to the highest point. In Gran Canaria, it is the viewpoint of Pico de las Nieves, in the center of the island. At an altitude of 1,949 metres, in good weather, you will have a breathtaking view of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, with its countless deep valleys and jagged ridges, shrouded in vegetation and crowned by spectacular rocks.
Caldera de los Marteles

We will then take the road north to Gran Canaria and make a stop at the viewpoint of the “Caldera de Los Marteles”. Created by a volcanic eruption in contact with groundwater, this crater (Caldera) is about 80 m deep and 550 m in diameter. If there are no clouds, you can also have a magnificent view of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. It will then be time to return to your hotel to complete this excursion around 6:00 – 6:30 pm.

Incredible, unforgettable.
An absolutely memorable private excursion from start to finish!
Our guide Fabien was punctual, passionate, and remarkably kind.
He knew how to fully adapt the itinerary to our wishes and introduced us to magnificent places off the beaten path, all while sharing fascinating anecdotes. The organization was smooth, the vehicle very comfortable, and the atmosphere warm.

Unforgettable excursion from Playa del Inglés to Las Palmas...absolutely recommended!
We experienced a wonderful trip from Playa del Inglés to Las Palmas and are absolutely thrilled!
Our tour guide Fabienne led us through the city with a lot of heart, humor and enormous expertise.
We explored the beautiful old town, went for a relaxing walk on Las Canteras beach and even stayed in a rooftop bar with fantastic views over the beach...a real highlight!
We particularly liked that Fabienne has led us off the typical tourist trails. You immediately notice how well he knows and how much he likes to share his knowledge of Gran Canaria.
Everything became understandable, exciting and explained with many small insider stories.
To top it off, we went to a typical Canarian restaurant in a mountain village, authentic, cosy and incredibly delicious.
Another big plus: Fabienne took many beautiful photos of us during the tour and sent them to us all the next day – a great service and a lasting memory of that day.
Clear and unqualified recommendation! If you really want to get to know Gran Canaria, this tour is the right place for you. We would definitely book again!

Discover the history and nature of Gran Canaria
Superb excursion Agüimes, Guayadeque, Tufia and Bandama, very different villages and landscapes in the same day. Historical discovery of the island and its first inhabitants. Discovery of the crater. Fabien is a wonderful guide who allows us to discover Gran Canaria Island by leaving the tourist mass and the international complexes without charm. He introduces us to the real Canaria and its culture. Second excursion made with him and I hope not the last.

A trip full of contrast, we loved
In May 2024, I had the opportunity to make an excursion to Teror, Firgas Arucas and Agaete with Fabien with complete satisfaction. Back in Gran Canaria, of course, we called on his services again. This time we opted for a visit to the Dunes and Mountains. What a contrast! Departure from Las Palmas in the morning by the motorway to the south to arrive at the viewpoint of the Maspalomas Dunes then an ascent to the mountains with breathtaking scenery. Many stops to allow us to visit, take pictures and a fabulous typical lunch, not at all expensive in the village of Tejeda. Return via a “Caldera” (a crater). It was wonderful weather and back at our hotel in Las Palmas we once again felt like leaving a long-time friend.
