Private Tour Corinth to walk at the Path's of Apostle Paul!

Description
Join on a journey through Greece’s ancient landmarks, beginning with the impressive Corinth Canal in Isthmia, connecting the Aegean and Ionian Seas, which creates a natural divide between the mainland and the Peloponnese. Next, explore the city of Ancient Corinth (Archaia Korinthos), once a bustling center of trade and spirituality, where you’ll visit landmarks like the Temple of Apollo and the ancient agora. Stroll through this historic site, imagining life as it was when Saint Paul arrived to spread his teachings to Corinthian residents. From there, ascend to Acrocorinth, the towering acropolis of Corinth. Offering sweeping views of the region, this ancient citadel served as both a fort and sanctuary over centuries, and it showcases layers of architectural history from Greek, Roman, and Byzantine civilizations. Then, visit Kechries, the ancient port where Paul set off on his second missionary journey.

Itinerary
Our driver will pick you up from your hotel and driving along the mainland coast to Peloponnese, we will have our first stop, 1 hour later, at the Canal of Corinth (6 km length and 80m height).
We continue to reach at Ancient Corinth which was one of Saint Paul’s beloved cities. Apostle Paul is also Corinth patron saint. We will have the chance to visit the Ancient Market and the Bema of Apostle Paul or Galionas, a large elevated rostrum standing prominently in the center of the Roman Forum of ancient Corinth, from where the city’s officials addressed the public (probably because of the monument’s connection to Saint Paul, the Bema was transformed into a Christian church during the Byzantine period). We will walk at the same paths that Apostle of Nations walked and preached hundreds of years earlier.
Our next stop will be at 'Kechrias Port. Around 52 AD, Apostle Paul arrived from Athens to Corinth. He stayed in Corinth for eighteen months, establishing and consolidating the Church of Corinth. Then, his next journey began, from Kechrias port. Next station is Ephesus and his final destination Syria. It is said that In Kehreas he shaved his head because he had made a vow. With great emotion he parted with his brothers in Christ of Corinth, who accompanied him to the port of Kenchreon. After our visit, we will make a short stop for a cup of coffee and then we will return back to Athens. The duration of the tour is about 5 hours

I booked this private tour for 3 so we could learn more about the ancient city of Corinth. First, the van was an hour and ten minutes late, which meant we would be rushed to get back for our next event. Second, the driver said he spoke very little English. When we made it to the first stop, he parked in the van area, opened the door and without a word, left. We had no idea what we were looking for or which direction to go so we had to flag him down to point us toward the attraction. The rest of the tour pretty much went that way. Finally, on the way to the last stop, we asked him to just skip it and take us back to Athens and drop us near the Acropolis Museum for our next event. Since we had had no lunch, we asked if we could eat our snacks in the van on the drive back. Without a word the driver abruptly pulled off onto a gravel road and opened the door for us to get out.....to eat. We were so dismayed at that point we all just started laughing! But we weren't laughing a short time later when the driver suddenly found enough English to tell us our 5 hours were over and he could not deliver us to the museum. There we were, stuck in Athens traffic, no idea where we were and he is saying the tour is over. Finally, my daughter asked if he could at least take us back to the hotel and, thankfully, he said yes. I spent several hundred dollars on that tour and I was looking forward to seeing and understanding more about Corinth. I really feel the company should refund us, as this was by far the worst tour experience I've ever had. Sorry. Hope yours is better! Oh, I gave it 1 star because the van was nice.
