Best Surf Lesson Ever!
We were incredibly fortunate to book a surfing lesson with Fernando and Elena! They were incredibly friendly throughout the day, and made everybody feel incredibly comfortable. The surf lesson itself was incredibly informative. Everybody in my session was catching their own waves by the end of the session. Other than surfing, however, we enjoyed talking to Fernando and Elena, and they even took us to Sayulita for food! Overall, our experience with them felt like a group hangout, and was out most memorable experience on our trip.

The best experience
My guide was so patient especially for me that do not like water, he made me comfortable with the waves and I had so much fun. Rafae is the BEST!!

Mother/Daughter Surf Sesh
My 16 year old daughter and I had a great time surfing! Rafael is a patient, kind, funny and professional instructor! The staff was friendly and my messages were answered almost immediately!

Rafael was a great...
Rafael was a great instructor, and we had a super fun time surfing with him. He was really helpful with the timing, and it went so much better than previous surf lessons that either of us had taken. It was a beautiful spot and a fun adventure. Thanks Rafael!

best day at la lancha 🏄♂️
Our surf day with them was absolutely amazing. They were so patient, encouraging, and full of great advice, which made the whole experience even better. On top of that, they were genuinely kind and easy to be around. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation!

Surfing in La Lancha
It was a beautiful day to go surfing for the first time! Rafael was a great guide and gave expert advice on how to get on the board. I did not feel rushed. Had a lot of time to enjoy myself. I would recommend them!

Perfect Beginners Surf Lessons
Incredible experience learning from one of the best. Raphael was our guide / instructor. A rad person and I can't recommend this experience enough. Awesome chat on the way to the beach (La Lancha). Learned a fair bit about the passing regions on our way. I've always been intimidated by the ocean and rip tides. Within minutes of chatting with this great human those fears were gone. Learned ocean safety as well as how to surf. Managed to catch several waves! He was even able to explain it in a different way for my wife so she had a better chance at success. Recommend bringing a few snacks, electrolit water for energy recovery (you'll be using a lot)... and a small bag to carry some items if you need... (sunscreen for example, or also to have somewhere to store your belongings while in the ocean). The overall crowd was family friendly and the advanced surfers were more focused on catching bigger waves a bit further out, rather than stealing things from folks on the beach. Thanks Raphael. It was our absolute pleasure crossing paths with you in this lifetime.

Super fun surf day at the beach
We had so much fun learning to surf with Xiutla Riders! Our instructor Rafael was friendly, knowledgeable, patient and entertaining. The location was also beautiful and perfect for beginners. Definitely recommend. Hopefully we’ll be back to try the ATVs next time!
