Private Silk Wall Hanging Painting Workshop in Jerusalem

This was a nice relaxing activity, we never heard of silk painting before and we had a nice mother daughter session making something beautiful.

Recommend silk painting with Avigael in her apartment in Jerusalem if you’re looking for a calming, relaxing indoor painting activity that yields a lovely piece of art. It fit the criteria of a private workshop, appropriate for a range of ages from 10-70+, for both boys (who do like painting) and adult women. The activity lasted a little over an hour. Each participant picked in advance what design they wanted to paint from her Pinterest of designs, and it was explained how to use the special paint for painting on silk. Avigael was patient and provided guidance and assistance as needed to learn the technique. My family members each left very delighted with their wall hanging keepsake! Recommended!

Fabulous experience, professional guidance. Lots of fun

We three friends, without prior painting experience and very little confidence, emerged after a couple of hours each holding a lovely silk painting. Prior to our visit Avigael had sent a link to a large selection of designs, and we each chose something different; she also advised us about levels of difficulty. Avigael demonstrated the technique of painting on silk and was encouraging and helpful. However, bear in mind that the workshop takes place in Avigael's home rather than a professional studio, and with some steps to climb to reach the flat. There is also a shortage of parking spaces in the area. Due to poor lighting over the table, we had some difficulty finding the outlines we were meant to follow, and we think this should be improved. All in all this is an original and creative way for a small number of friends or family to spend time together.

We had such a great time! Avigail was very patient and clear and it was so relaxing! It was really fun to learn a new art medium.
