Our trip to Egypt is divided into two parts: Cairo and Sharm El Sheikh. Our stay in Cairo went really well. We appreciated the warm welcome and assistance throughout our stay. We were especially impressed by Mariam’s professionalism and dedication as our guide. We hope the second part of our adventure in Sharm El Sheikh will be just as wonderful and memorable! 😊
Great experience with GEM Tours! I booked at the last minute, about 3 hours before my flight arrived in Cairo, but everything was perfectly arranged! I was picked up nicely at the airport and dropped off again after the tour. The taxi was great and my tour guide was really wonderful. She was incredibly kind, friendly, and above all, very smart. She knew a great deal about the pyramids, the history, and of course the entire museum. You really notice that she has a lot of knowledge and tells it with passion. We also had a delicious lunch afterwards. During the tour, you are offered various options, but you are completely free to choose what you want or not. I had a really super experience and can definitely recommend GEM Tours! ❤️ The next time I am in Cairo, I will definitely book with them again. Thanks for the wonderful day!

Mourat the driver and Temir the guide were very friendly, welcoming and tried to make our trip as comfortable as possible. Your was onn time. Maryam our guide was very knowledgeable. Very enthusiastic and English was good. Had alot 5 kids under 10 years and she accommodated them well. Museum was huge and tiring with kids but she made it fun.

Our guide was punctual, knowledgeable, helpful & overall gave us a good experience. We asked to skip one of the sites & he had no problems accommodating our wishes. He was very helpful guiding us to pay the fees. The driver was also VERY good & very safe, helpful & kind. Highly recommended. We skipped the visit to the pyramids of Giza & just did the Sakkara & Memphis part. The Sakkara/stepped pyramid was worth it. But we felt Memphis was maybe something we could've skipped. The highlight of the Memphis visit was the statue of Ramses II lying flat. This is the twin of the one in the new, Grand Egyptian Museum. But the rest of the 'outdoor museum' was pretty unspectacular.

We toured the Giza Pyramids and had an excellent experience. The car arrived promptly and we had no issues reaching the site. Our guide Hishek had a dynamic and engaging presentation style, and communicated clearly. He was knowledgeable and provided good answers to all our questions, and gave good advice on how to prioritize the tour. Only some of the stops after the pyramids were of personal interest to us, but others might find them more valuable. He took us to an excellent local lunch spot afterward, which we very much enjoyed. Overall, we had a great time and have no hesitations recommending it!

That was a great experience! We’ve been to a plenty of great places, and our guide Tawfik shared a lot, he also could decrypt a lot of encryptions in the tombs, on the sarcofagus, etc, which was a special touch of this guide. However, there was some misunderstanding with the management, and we had to solve the issues being on tour which brought some inconvenience, that’s why one star was substructed.
