Beautiful experience, got close to the monkeys. Warm winter day, so no bathing monkeys, but anyhow amazing with them all around you. Downside is that it Feels a bit ‘industrialized’ with all the concrete, nets and paths. And maaany touristst, as expected. Oh, a very easy hike even for small kids on a flat gravel path.

Well organised and flexible to our timings we were greeted at Nagano station by Joyce. After introduction to our driver Mr Fujisawa, we visited the snow monkeys, had a great Bento lunch and then were taken to our hotel in Hakuba. Snow monkeys were amazing and Mr Fujisawa a patient and skilled driver in very snowy conditions. A great way to have an experience on way to hakuba.

We used the company for transportation and they were wonderful. A huge help to get from the train station up the mountain, and to the snow monkeys. Highly reccomend!

The entire experience was extremely convenient and made our trip so much easier. Hara met us as soon as we exited through the ticket gate and drove us straight to the snow monkey park. He had our entrance tickets, too. The van was clean and very spacious. Hara picked us up at our meeting spot then we had a smooth transition to our hotel.

Joyce was a fabulous guide. Wonderful to get to know her and such an easy way to enjoy what this town (Obuse) has to offer. Delicious lunch in an historic building and wonderful scenery , architecture and art. A highlight of our trip.
