Good communication, picked up promptly, very courteous guide. Great boat trip, and we saw proboscis monkeys (not guaranteed given wild). He was also good at getting me on/off the boat without being crocodile food, and taking photos of the monkeys on my phone for me! I was expecting more of a visit to Kampung Ayer, local house etc. That being said I very much enjoyed it without and would recommend.
I really enjoyed this tour. I recommend seeing as much of the Bruneian countryside as possible, and this riverboat tour is perfect for those with limited means and time. Fendi was my guide, and he did a great job explaining the history and ecology of the Brunei River basin. I recommend!
We had a great experience & learned a lot about Brunei & the river wildlife. We saw white heron/egret birds, a small crocodile, the proboscis monkey & long tailed macaque. The opportunity to visit s house in the water village was great too. Our guide was very good. Warm, friendly and answered all our questions.

The water culture tour included sighting of several proboscis monkeys in the trees. My driver Baby took me on a great water ride through the huge water city. Truly the most sophisticated water culture I have ever seen, with several schools, and a parking lot off shore for residents to drive to work in the city. This is the first water culture museum I have ever seen and I spent an hour here, exploring the photos and artifacts.
It took us quite some time but thanks to the team’s efforts we managed to see the proboscis monkeys! After that we visited a water village house and tried some delicious local sweets. It was an opportunity to find out more about Brunei culture and everyday life 👍
The boat ride was very nice. Saw Proboscis, crocodile and different kinds of birds. Also you get to see how locals live along the river.
