Take a one-hour break in Porto. Guests may choose a café or restaurant during this time; meals and drinks are not included.

Pause briefly to see the azulejo-covered façade of Igreja do Carmo from the street. Entry to the church is not included.

See the exterior of Livraria Lello, one of Porto’s best-known bookshops, as you pass by. The tour does not include entry or admission tickets.

Spend time at Mercado do Bolhão, Porto’s historic covered market, browsing stalls with fresh produce, regional foods and local products. Admission is free; purchases are at your own expense.

This stop is included only with a sailing option. Board a shared sailboat at Douro Marina in Afurada for a 90-minute cruise along the Douro River. The boat is shared with other guests and carries a maximum of 12 passengers in total, including your group and any other guests. On board, sample the drinks available, including Port wine, Vinho Verde and Port tonic, and enjoy snacks such as fried corn, cashews and peanuts. This stop is not included in the City Tour Only option.

Your private city tour ends with a comfortable drop-off at your hotel or accommodation in Porto. If you selected the City Tour + Shared Sailing option, your experience will return to Porto after the shared Douro River cruise.
