Enjoy this Petra Wadi Rum Tour from Aqaba. You will be picked up from your hotel to start your Petra and Wadi Rum Tour. After that, you will be transferred by an air-conditioned vehicle for about 1.5 hours to the rose-red city of Petra. First started in the 6th century B.C. by Nabataean Arabs the city boasts beautiful facades carved directly into the walls of the mountainsides. Arriving at the visitor’s center it’s a 700-meter walk to the Siq entrance which is an impressive 1200 meter long gorge of a kaleidoscope of colors the towers more than 80 meters above you. As you exit the chasm you’re instantly transfixed by the beauty of Petra, chosen as one of the New World Wonders, the place speaks for itself. After your time at Petra, you make your way back through the Siq and head to lunch at a local restaurant. From there you take a one and half hour drive to the protectorate of Wadi Rum a sprawling desert landscape that impresses you at every turn. Made famous by the film Lawrence of Arabia, there are canyons and cliff, sand dunes and ancient rock glyphs. Finally, you will be driven back to your hotel in Aqaba.

Our tour guide was amazing. The professor was very knowledgeable in the tour. Went above and beyond to explain the history of Petra. Our driver to Petra was on of a kind, very friendly, humble, and kind. Highly recommend this personal experience. Just beware of souvenir shops prices in general.
Aiman at Jordan border was most helpful. Muhammad our driver was amazing. Full of information along the route to Petra and the best Jordanian you could wish to meet. A special bond between us. Thanks for man liking our Jordan experience so memorable Tony June 23
Dear Tony, Thank you for sharing such a heartfelt review. We’re delighted to hear that your experience at the border with Aiman was smooth and helpful, and that your journey to Petra with Muhammad was so enjoyable. Creating those genuine connections along the way is what makes a trip truly special. Your kind words about the bond you formed mean a lot to us — these are the moments we value most. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you again in Jordan. Warm regards, The Team of Jordan Horizons Tours
We had Kamel as our guide and he picked us up at the appointed time by the tour buses. His English was excellent and his sense of humor was great. The tour to Petra more than met our expectations and our tour also included a lunch at a beautiful hotel as well as a 4x4 trip to Wadi Rum. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. They even called ahead and had a cart ticket for the one couple that needed it. So no waiting for them. Our small group was about 8-10 people.
Dear Shamrockarse, Thank you for your wonderful review and recommendation. We’re delighted to hear that your day trip exceeded expectations and that everything was well organized from the start. Kamel will be especially happy to know you appreciated his humor and guidance — we’ll be sure to share your kind words with him. It’s great that you enjoyed both Petra and Wadi Rum, along with the smooth arrangements for your group. These small details are exactly what we aim to get right. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you again in Jordan. Best regards, Guest Relations Team Jordan Horizons Tours

We’re a family of 6 with 2 adult kids and 2 teens. Abdullah arranged travel from border to hotel and back to border. This helped a lot in the immigration which reduced significantly the waiting times!!! In this COVID days it’s really important. In addition we did 2 tours, one to Wadi Rum and the second to Petra. Both tours were with private van and private driver Hassan. Hassan is the greatest and we really liked traveling with him. Overall it over achieved our expectations and we truly recommend using Abdullah and JHT services.

Excellent arrangement of the trip, very professional and kind driver, high quality of the local guide in Petra (speaking surprisingly good Italian!) and of the lunch (delicious!). Absolutely wonderful jeep tour of the Wadi Rum with an amazing guide. Last but not least, great customer care from the booking via email to the absolutely wonderful before and after our trip, always careful and supportive. We were so impressed by everything that we are already planning a longer tour of the Wadi Rum for our next Jordan holiday, including sleeping in the desert. We will surely ask JHT to organise the trip. Highly recommended!!
