We will ride along the waters of the Panama Canal right next to the ships passing through on their way to the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Our destination is Gatun Lake, where we will cruise around islands created during the canal construction and see the abundant wildlife on its shores.

We would take you to an observation area at the pacific side where we will discuss about the history, construction and operation of the original Panama Canal.

After seeing a ship go through the Pedro Miguel locks, we will continue by car to the Chagres River where we will begin a boat tour in the Gatun Lake, the biggest lake part of the Panama Canal, and pass beside the huge ships going through the Panama Canal in our way to group of islands inside the Soberania National Park, where we will find monkeys and wild animals inside the Panama Canal.

We will head to the city of Colon at the atlantic side of the Canal where we will stop to buy lunch at a restaurant of traditional panamanian food.
After lunch, we will continue by car to visit the new expansion of the Panama Canal where we would see bigger ships going through the locks and learn about how these amazing structures work.

Panama Canal Tour
One of the best decisions we made during our trip was booking a private Panama Canal pacific to the Atlantic tour. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and did an excellent job blending Panama's history with insights into his everyday life and culture. We traveled in a clean, comfortable SUV and appreciated the snacks and bottled water provided along the way. Most importantly, the weather cooperated, giving us plenty of sunshine throughout the day. We would gladly recommend this tour to any friends or family visiting Panama.

Fantastic day tour!
We had a fantastic day with Angel. He was knowledgeable and friendly. Easy pickup/drop off from Playa Bonita. What an opportunity to see the Atlantic and Pacific in one day! Truly cannot recommend this tour enough! We enjoyed the history and the monkeys! Thank you!!

Unexpected private tour
They came to the wrong hotel for our pickup. This made us late for the tour, so our pickup driver took us on a private tour. Tons of knowledge, very personable, turned out to be a great tour.

Jose was awesome! So knowledgeable, must do tour!
Great tour! Jose was excellent, very informative and helpful, always making sure all our questions/needs were met! Went out of his way to ensure we had a great experience! We left a jacket in his car, and he drove back to the hotel the next day to deliver it.
