An Unforgettable Cairo Experience with Mina and Mohammed from Giza Egypt Tours
Our second day in Cairo, Sunday 27 September, was made truly special by Mina and Mohammed from Giza Egypt Tours.
Mina and Mohammed took us to the Cave Church in Garbage City, where we were introduced to our local guide, Deacon Zachariah of the Coptic Orthodox Church. We were incredibly fortunate to attend Mass with approximately 15,000 devoted Coptic worshippers. It was a powerful and unforgettable experience.
We also toured part of St. Simon’s Monastery, including the Cave Church of St. Mark. Mina and Mohammed arranged everything smoothly and made sure we understood the history and significance of each place we visited.
Afterwards, they took us to Old Cairo, where we visited the Citadel and explored Coptic Cairo. We saw the Church of St. George, the Hanging Church, and the Church of St. Sergius, including the cave where the Holy Family is believed to have stayed. Mina shared interesting historical and cultural information throughout the day, helping us appreciate the importance of these remarkable sites.
They then took us to a spice market, where we enjoyed a wonderful spice and tea market experience. Later, we visited the El Khalili Market, where Mina gave us a fascinating tour and explained the history of the market. He also showed us the best places to shop and helped us enjoy the experience without feeling overwhelmed.
Mohammed was an excellent driver and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire day. Mina and Mohammed worked together extremely well, and their friendly, professional approach made the tour relaxed and enjoyable.
What stood out most was their genuine care and attention to detail. They wanted us to experience Cairo’s history, culture, religion and everyday life in an authentic and meaningful way. They were patient, knowledgeable and always willing to help, including assisting us with photographs so we could capture memories of our family trip.
At the end of the day, Mina and Mohammed safely brought us back to our hotel in Maadi. We are very grateful for the wonderful experiences they arranged for us.
We highly recommend Giza Egypt Tours, and especially Mina, to anyone visiting Cairo. His professionalism, kindness and knowledge made our day unforgettable.
Thank you, Mina for an exceptional Cairo experience!

Wonderful Private Tour with Mina
This was a very special day for me, as it was our last day in Cairo. In our case, the option we chose included the entrance fees and lunch. Lunch was great — the shawarma was absolutely mouthwatering!
The tour was private, just for my friend and me. The atmosphere was wonderful, and throughout the whole day, our tour guide, Mina, was incredibly patient and sweet. He explained everything clearly and was always happy to answer any questions we had.
A truly wonderful experience! I will definitely visit again.

Great time seeing Cairo
Mina was my guide. He was right on time picking me up at my hotel. He did a great job prepping me for everything we would see that we would see on the tour. On the way to the first stop, he gave me an overview of the history of Egypt and Cairo. He is very knowledgeable on both. I really appreciated his willingness to accommodate finding a special gift to take home and he took me to a place with a great selection. At all stops, he was a wonderful teacher explaining what we were seeing. I would absolutely call him again for my next trip to Egypt.

An Amazing and Fun Experience!
It was a really nice experience! The guide was amazing and we never felt like we were with a guide. He was so friendly and close to us, like a friend. The atmosphere was very nice and the whole experience was really enjoyable.
During the whole trip, we did not get bored for even a minute because we were dancing and singing all the time. We had so much fun!
I also have a fear of heights, but with the help of our guide, I managed to enjoy the experience. I went up and down the slope and I got to see the amazing view from above. The guide was very helpful and made me feel safe and comfortable.
I would definitely recommend this experience. It was fun, friendly and full of great moments!
