Based on our own numbers, the queue at the Wall entrance between 8:30am and 11:30am on Mondays can easily run over an hour. That's why we typically recommend heading out from the city around 6:30am, so you arrive at the Wall by about 8am — right before the big crowds roll in. It really does make the whole experience so much more enjoyable, and there's nothing quite like having that incredible view almost to yourself.
