After visiting Montserrat, the tour continues to visit the heart of Penedès famous for its Cava. At Marc Esteve Vives, a small family-owned winery in the heart of the Penedès. Walk through the vineyards, visit the cellar and discover the story behind this unique and ambitious project . You will learn about the process of cava production followed by a fabulous brunch paired with 2 premium cavas with Montserrat views.
Before returning to Barcelona, continue the journey through the heart of the Penedès around Sant Sadurní d’Anoia. Drive along quiet countryside roads surrounded by vineyards, with views of Montserrat rising in the distance. All of this in a very private setting, while enjoying stunning views from a Tesla 🤩 I live in Barcelona, and even I didn’t know about the places we visited. The views, the cava, meeting the winery owner, and learning directly from them made this a truly unique experience. Pedro is a fantastic host. He makes sure you’re always comfortable, well-fed, and have plenty to drink, while sharing his knowledge as a local with roots across the Penedès wine region and the beautiful Canary Islands. There’s so much to learn from him and be inspired by. Not too long, not too short; just the right amount of time, and by the end it felt like I had made new friends in this beautiful place. Can’t wait to go back 🫶
