Thank you
I requested this tour on the same day. Tripadvisor very kindly found what tours were available same day and our tour guide Patrick kindly stepped in at last minute notice. It was not his usual tour route but he was still very knowledgeable about the route and happily volunteered to add his normal route to our tour at no extra cost. He was very engaging and entertaining and clearly was passionate about Liverpool and history. It was a great tour and I would recommend to anyone.
Thanks so much - I rang Patrick before your tour & he is lovely & was happy to do the tour for you - he will be delighted
This tour was organised within 24 hours of coming to Liverpool which in itself was extraordinary! We were greeted by our guide who took us exactly where we wanted to go. He was friendly, informative, and accommodating. I did contact a few other tour companies but they were either extortionately expensive or just never got back to me. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a private tour to your specific needs.
Thank you Sharon it was our absolute pleasure & I hope it helped your daughter choose her university ! Your tour guide was Doug & he will be delighted with your lovely review - thanks again Neil
i did tour 1 in July and it rained for the whole two hours so to do tour 2 in brilliant sunshine was fantastic. We started off in the cultural quarter. Our guide Rob told us about how the museum library and art gallery came into existence through the benevolence of the cities merchants, we then moved on through the city taking in the magnificent St Georges hall and the last place the Beatles played in the city the Empire Theatre. Moving along Lime St and up into the Georgian Quarter learning how as the merchants got richer they started to move further away from the river. Rob did inform us that a lot of our merchants were involved in the slave trade. We visited both of the grand cathedrals which are connected by Hope Street. This street has a lot of connections with the Beatles as well as culture. All in all avery enjoyable tour with a really great guide Rob who was very knowledgeable and i could tell had a passion for the Beatles
Thanks so much for a super review we have worked very hard to create new content in our tours and to make them the safest way to learn all about Liverpool avoiding all the busiest places and Rob is fantastic.. thanks again Neil
I attended a fantastic tour with a outstandingly knowledgeable guide at the end of July and felt safe and secure at all times during this. Not only was the tour content very interesting but social distancing was implemented during the entire time
Thanks so much we have really worked hard on our tours to make them fun & bring the city to life avoiding the busiest places
We went on both the morning and afternoon tours on different days, led by 2 different guides. Morning tour was guided by a knowledgeable guide who made her tour unique by including personal stories along the way. The afternoon tour guide was equally knowledgable but it was like listening to an audiobook. No personal touch but still informative
Hi Luke I’ve put a full reply on your partners review - I know you had a fab time on the route 1 tour with Jean & I know exactly what happened with that route two tour which really should be equally as good as the first as there’s even more to talk about and see on that walk I’m going to take all our guides out on that route 2 next week to make sure we bring the whole place to life - thanks for letting me know Glad you thought that route 1 was amazing we’ve been running that for 7 years every day of the year
Completed the beetles walking tour on the Tues. Jean was a personal guide and gave copious amounts of information on the city itself and the famous 4-The Beetles. With such high expectations she recommended the 2nd tour which we completed on the Thurs. Unfortunately this was lacking a bit of energy and slightly dry. The tour starting at the Dock is the better of the two.
Thanks for the review the dock tour is route 1 & we’ve been running that with exceptional 5 star reviews for 7 years The second tour - Route 2 in the afternoon Is a new tour up passing the Beatles schools & colleges, john Lennon & Brian Epstein’s birthplaces the pubs the beatles drank in & filming locations it also has heritage & slavery too but bearing in mind your review we will look at the route again with all our guides to make sure that we move away from the start as soon as possible & get up to Brian’s birthplace in the Geurgian Quarter as there is far more up there to bring tug tour to life not to mention two cathedrals I will look at that Route 2 on Monday - thanks for letting me know - Neil
We visited as three friends on our first trip to Liverpool. We wanted to explore a bit of the city and learn some of the history. Jean was our guide and she was absolutely fantastic. Kind, chatty, friendly and she really knew her stuff! The tour went over as she was so enthusiastic and shared so much information. She also helped us out with restaurant recommendations. We had a great tour and introduction to Liverpool. Thanks Jean!
Really these reviews are so much help for us to restart after the covid lockdown - I’m thrilled you had a great time
Patrick our guide was very friendly and took time to answer our questions and went out of his way to show us buildings he thought we'd be interested in. I didn't feel inundated with information and the walking pace was comfortable. A really pleasant afternoon in the city. I'd like to do the Albert Dock tour now definitely. Thanks Patrick.
That’s a lovely review & Patrick is amazing he will be delighted - we have all worked really hard to modify the tours to avoid the really busy places yet still show off all our favourite places & bring the city to life!
Loved it - really entertaining, relaxed and at just the right pace, and all on a lovely sunny day which made it the perfect afternoon trip go on with friends. Thank you
Thank you for a lovely review
