Bellagio is a small jewel located on the promontory that separates the two southern branches of Lake Como, those culminating in the cities of Como and Lecco.
It is one of the most glamorous and romantic destinations in Lombardy. In fact, the well-known “Pearl of Lake Como” is home to a colorful historic center, beautiful gardens, charming neighborhoods and much more.

Rich in history, art and culture, it also offers some of the most evocative sceneries of the Lake Centre: the Comacina Island, the only island on Lake Como, the wooded promontory of Dosso del Lavedo with the marvellous villa of Balbianello, the medieval corner of Ossuccio, Sala Comacina and Lenno.

Villa del Balbianello is located on a wooded promontory, offering an enchanted view of Lake Como. This elegant, romantic 18th century mansion and its magnificent garden have hosted writers, scholars and travelers, including Count Guido Monzino, the last owner of the Villa.

A truly special experience!
Giovanni was the very best tour guide! He graciously went off script for us and took us to Gordona, Italy, my late father’s birthplace. He was instrumental in helping me find family that I didn’t know I had. My husband and I had the best day of our 3 week trip because of Giovanni. He was able to converse with family that we found and he translated beautifully for us. It was such a special and emotional day for me. He took us to a local restaurant to taste the traditional dish, Pizzoccheri della Valtellina that is native to my family’s region. It was delicious. I am grateful to Giovanni for giving us a truly memorable experience and day!

What an Amazing Experience!
Our tour with Giovanni was amazing! He promptly picked us up at 8 at our AirBnB for our trip to St. Moritz. His knowledge of the history and culture of Italy and Switzerland brought to life our journey. He personally walked us onto the Bernini Express and chose the best carriage for the breathtaking train ride. Giovanni met us when we arrived and gave us a wonderful tour of St. Moritz and an amazing ride back to Argegno where we stayed. We would definitely use Giovanni again and highly recommend him.

Wonderful Tour of Bellagio and Lake Como
Giovanni was an amazing guide. He picked us up promptly at 9 am at our hotel and drove us to Lake Como. He taught us tons about the history of the area as we went. We had a great day exploring Lake Como.

Excellent Private tour

Giovanni sets the bar high
My wife and I spent the first 2 days of our 2 week trip touring Lake Como & Bellagio, then riding through the Alps on the Bernina train to St Moritz, both days with Giovanni as our guide. Although it was an overcast day for the train ride, Giovanni found a way to make it memorable by taking photos throughout the day and finding a delicious sandwich and bottle of wine for the train ride. He definitely set the bar high for all others on the rest of our trip.

Perfect Taster Lake Como experience

A great day with Giovani
We are four English-speaking seniors and had a fantastic day touring Lake Como with Giovanni. He was incredibly accommodating, knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with. His English is excellent, and he made everything smooth and enjoyable. We traveled in comfort, saw stunning views, and appreciated how flexible and engaging he was throughout the day. Giovanni knows the area inside and out—he was even able to fast track us when needed, which made a big difference. Our only regret is not booking more than one day with him. He’s top notch, and we highly recommend his tour to anyone visiting the area.
