Super Friendly and Knowledgeable
I came here as a solo traveler, and Sachi and Masaru gave me a fantastic tour around the city center. They were both friendly and welcoming and were very knowledgeable about the area. Definitely worth your time if you’re in Hiroshima

Great local’s view of Hiroshima - not just the tourist “must see” spots
Sachi was a great guide and companion around Hiroshima’s city center. Lots of historical context to what we saw - it gave me a good feel for what it may feel like to live in Hiroshima.
Was very nice to visit shops and place that locals visit - not just the “must see” places that cater to tourists.
Highly recommend!

Great local knowledge and a lovely way to see a different part of Hiroshima
A great tour, very informative and Sachi was flexible to our requests. It was lovely to see some of the different parts of Hiroshima and we even experienced an impromtu tea ceremony - I would thoroughly recommend both the local life and the tea ceremony tours
Operator response
Thank you for your wonderful review! Despite the hot weather, I truly enjoyed exploring the city with both of you. I'll continue to refine the new tea ceremony tour. Thank you again for your cooperation!

Another way of looking at Hiroshima
You will see sites in Hiroshima that are not in your tour book. The guide will take you into stores and show you religious sites in a neighborhood free of tourists. The guy brought along a colleague who was a former chemistry teacher, and offered some cogent explanations as well.
Operator response
Thank you for joining our tour yesterday.
We also had a very enjoyable day. My colleague said they really enjoyed walking with the two of you! We sincerely hope the rest of your trip is wonderful!

A short walk full of little japanese treasures !
It is my first trip to Japan, I want a different tourist experience. Sachi provided cultural information regarding the area we walked, also she showed me illustrations to support her explanations, we visited world Peace Memorial Cathedral (no photos allowed) and we visited two local shops and I was lucky to try a traditional sweet of a local shop with 70 years experience making these sweets! She also answered extra questions and gave me some advices. If you would like to learn about the local life I recomend you to book this tour.
Operator response
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! I’m truly happy to have been part of your first trip to Japan. It brings me joy to know you enjoyed the local culture and traditions, and that you liked the sweets from the long-established shop. I will continue to do my best to share our culture and everyday life of Japan with more visitors. Thank you again for sharing your experience with me. I hope to see you again in the future!

Great way to see another side of Hiroshima
I only had a few days in Hiroshima and this tour was an excellent way to see some of the less famous sights, and see parts of the city I would have missed otherwise. I particularly liked the cathedral, but also visiting the hanko and tea shop and learning more about them. Satchio was a great guide who gave lots of information.
Operator response
Thank you so much for joining the tour and for your kind words! I really enjoyed exploring the city with you as well. I'm so glad you liked the hidden gems of Hiroshima, like the cathedral, the hanko shop, and the tea shop. Wishing you all the best on your future travels!

A wonderful small walking trip in Hiroshima
Sachi gave me a wonderful gift today. Most of the places Sachi showed me today are places where local Japanese people visit and live every day. Some of the places are unique to Hiroshima. A small shrine, ordinary lunch spots, a church that praying for peace, etc. Seeing these everyday scenes made me love Japan even more. I highly recommend this city walking trip to foreigners who want to know more about Japan. Thank you, Sachi.

A delightful and informative walking tour
I enjoyed a wonderful walking tour with Sachi and her colleague. They showed me historical parts of the city I would've never found, including the Ebisu Shrine and Memorial Cathedral for World Peace. We also visited the famous Okonomimura food stalls, a tea shop, and stamp maker. Along the way, they shared historical insights and were a delight to meet. Anyone looking for a quiet walk to significant points of interest off the beaten path will enjoy this 2 hour walking tour.
Operator response
