Terrific Walk - Levada dos Marocos
My partner and I walked this Levada with Marcos from ‘Pearl of the Atlantic’ and thoroughly enjoyed the day. Marcos ensured that we were comfortable and walked at a pace that suited us. It was an easy flat walk, although long, and we came across local farmers tending their animals and fields. We were entertained by his stories and knowledge of the Levada, and were very impressed with the photographs that he took during the day, which was a welcome surprise. Marcos ensured that we enjoyed the tour and we would recommend ‘Pearl of the Atlantic’ to anyone visiting Funchal.
