The guide never showed up. We wasted an hour trying to get a hold of him through Viator and the Historical Tour Society. They refunded our money but completely ruined what we had planned because of the age diversity of our family group we were really looking forward to an experienced tour guide.

I know so much more now than I did two hours ago thanks to our incredibly knowledgeable private guide, Kevin. We took a “Highlights” tour of The Met and from start to finish we covered so many unique artifacts, period rooms, and special treasures, all the while learning fascinating history of the artists, New York collectors, and sometimes very unusual stories of how the pieces ended up in New York….ask to see the only Michelangelo sculpture in the US. He was also very gracious with his general knowledge of New York. Next time we visit we’ll be requesting one of his other tours in the city. Thank you!
