Private Guided Full Day Group Tour to Ninh Binh

Our guide was waiting as soon as we came down to the lobby😀. Nice care and relaxed drive 😀. Good knowledge and insight from our guide, Dave. Great to explore and relax and finish with a nice lunch. All well organised and smooth with lots of flexibility in a private tour.

We booked this experience through Kate at the Legend Hotel Hanoi, she was fantastic in answering all our questions and organising this tour. We were met by Chris (tour guide) and Hien (driver) at the hotel, both were great to meet on arrival at 0800, it was just the two of us. We made our way, first to Mua Cave (the 500 steps), we arrived around 1030 after a stop for coffee (Vietnamese Ice coffee ..so good!). The steps are great, you can take your time and view was worth the walk. I would take cash, having said that some of the bars there take card which was great for a cold drink once you got back down. We then made our way to Hao Lou Temple, this history was great to hear about from Chris, I was not aware of the ancient history and dynasty, so this was interesting. We stopped for lunch where we tried goat meat, prawns, chicken and other local food, it was nice to try these. Then, we moved to Trang An, Chris booked us a private boat so we skipped the queues and did not nees to wait for another pair, they go in fours unless the other seats are paid for. The views are breathtaking and well worth the travel. For us, the 2hours was quite long and we would have taken a shorter route but we dis see monkeys and skull island from the movie king kong. We then went back to the hotel, traffic was mad so it took us 3 hours to get back and we enjoyed seeing local villages as we travelled. This was a great day and I would recommend this tour, Chris and Hien were great and a shout out to Hien fkr driving through all those mopeds, cars, cows and anything else. Thank you to Chris for his singing, added entertainment and his energy, this is a long day (11 hrs ish) but worth every minute. Lastly thank you to Kate too!

We did a private tour to Ninh binh this included Dragon mountain, Hoa Lu, Bich Dong pagoda and the bear sanctuary with Chien as our guide. Chien was amazing. He clearly communicated with the day prior to let us know the plan and to help us prepare. He met us early in the lobby of our hotel and although we a small delay with our driver (due to a flat tire) he kept us up to date on the progress of the car. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He is very experienced in these tours. He accompanied us the entire time throughout all activities and had the perfect balance of sharing info while letting us go off and explore a bit by ourselves. He planned the day really well so we did the most active part early in the day to avoid the heat and keep us ahead of the crowds. Our driver was also great. The suv was really comfortable and clean. The driver was efficient and we felt safe the entire time. Overall, we had a wonderful time.

Highlight of our trip to Vietnam ! Our tour guide was such a joy ! Full of adventure, from the temple, bike riding, lunch, boats and mountain hike. Everything had a plus the temple was intriguing full of facts, the bike ride of different and full of views then the lunch was just delicious of buffet style I think we all had two plates ! The boats was so tranquil and was just so beautiful and finally the mountain hike it was a blast ! Our tour guide, Son, made it one of a kind and it was so well planned and thought out, we were never in large crowds which was great ! Thank you so much for a wonderful tour !

We had an absolutely fantastic day visiting Bai Dinh Pagoda, Trang An, and Mua Cave on our private tour. Everything was handled seamlessly from start to finish, making it a peaceful, stress-free, and memorable experience. ​Our tour guide, Dave, was outstanding! He was exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, and explained the rich history and culture of each site so clearly. What we appreciated most was his accommodating, unhurried pace—he never rushed us through the sights, allowing us to truly absorb the beauty of Ninh Binh at our own speed. ​The transportation was equally great. We were provided with new car, and our driver was very professional and smooth on the road, making the journey super comfortable.

One of the best experiences i've been to, the tour guide James (Khoa) was so nice and fun around, I really recommend for people visiting Vietnam.

Excellent service, Chris (guide) is very kind, speaks English very well, explains everything that will be done on the tour from the beginning and resolves any questions, accompanies you every step of the way and all the activities are highly recommended.
