After 10am pickup from your downtown hotel, you'll drive through Vancouver and westward toward Stanley park, the largest Urban Park in North America. Visit the totem park were your guide will explain the carvings and cultural notes throughout the park. There are natural wonders from 1000 year old trees to the great history of the area we proceed through the west end to Shaughnessy for the grand house viewing and arrive at the Granville island public market for lunch after our tour on the island we head to The Olympic village and Yaletown for a mix of modern and old before heading to fabulous Chinatown. There, you'll visit the Dr. Sun Yat Sen Chinese Gardens, with a stopover at a Chinese tea shop. Then head to Gastown, where your guide will explain Gassy Jack's story and how Vancouver became the major trading port it is today. If time allows we also have an option to visit the 238 flavor ice cream palace Le Casa, then back to your hotel and on the way your guide will mention a few good restaurants and other activities to complete your day.

Our family of 4 did a private Grand City Tour with Michael. We were picked up at our hotel and spent the whole day with Michael exploring various sites. Weather was perfect and saw so many things. Communication was great - van was very clean - Michael is very knowledgeable and personable. Can't say enough good things abut Michael and his company. Highly recommend this tour (or small group) - you will not be disappointed!
Michael’s tour was excellent from start to finish. Our private group of 11 was met at the cruise ship terminal following our Alaskan cruise. We were picked up in his pristine Mercedes van that accommodated all of our luggage. We were given a wonderful tour of beautiful Vancouver. His knowledge and love for his city was evident in all that we were shown and educated about! In our short time in Vancouver we were introduced to the beauty and uniqueness of Vancouver. We stopped at a wonderful restaurant for lunch. The food was delicious with everyone really enjoying their selections. We continued our tour after lunch with the fascinating Marketplace in Vancouver with all of its incredible offerings. We finished up our tour with a visit to the largest ice cream shop in the world, offering 238 different flavors of homemade ice cream. It was delightful! After our wonderful tour, Michael transported us to the airport for our evening return flight home! It was really a perfect ending to our wonderful Alaskan adventure!
