One of the oldest and most prominent Temple in New Delhi. It was built by Sai Bhakta Samaj with the objective to spread the message of Shiridi Sai Baba.
The Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is one of the most popular and important Sikh shrines in Delhi. Located in the heart of the city, the gurudwara was the abode of Guru Har Krishan, a prominent Sikh guru who lived here and served many people during his lifetime. Today the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is an important place of worship for Sikhs, where special gatherings and prayers are held on the birth anniversary of Guru Har Krishan. The Gurudwara premises include the main prayer hall (containing the Granth Sahib, the holy book of the Sikhs), a tank in the middle, a library which contains books on Sikhism, a hospital, a school and an art gallery. Like with all gurudwaras, langar is served in the Bangla Sahib where everyone irrespective of religion, caste, gender, caste or creed is welcome to share a meal.
'Akshardham' means the divine abode of God. It is hailed as an eternal place of devotion, purity and peace. Swaminarayan Akshardham in New Delhi is a Mandir – an abode of God, a Hindu house of worship, and a spiritual and cultural campus dedicated to devotion, learning and harmony. Timeless Hindu spiritual messages, vibrant devotional traditions and ancient architecture all are echoed in its art and architecture. The mandir is a humble tribute to Bhagwan Swaminarayan (1781- 1830), the avatars, devas and great sages of Hinduism. The traditionally-styled complex was inaugurated on 6 November 2005 with the blessings of HH Pramukh Swami Maharaj and through the devoted efforts of skilled artisans and volunteers

Dear Thanks for the time and kind response, it has been a pleasure to give you a tour. Wish to see you again...
Our hotel arranged a trip with this group while a friend and I were in New Delhi on business. We had a vehicle and driver provided by the hotel and a tour guide provided by this company. The entire experience was great and we really enjoyed our time exploring New Delhi with our tour guide Sunil. We started the day at the Qutb Complex in South Delhi walking around the tower and exploring the various buildings. Our guide spent time explaining the historical significance of each building and helping us to put it in perspective with other tours we had done previously including Taj Majal. We got some great pictures walking around the complex. We then drove over to the Lotus Temple to see a more recent constructed building. We toured on a Saturday with heat around 100 F and there was an hour wait to enter the temple, so we decided not to wait, but just walking around the building provided a very interesting perspective. Next we drove over to Humayun's Tomb and walked around the various buildings in the complex. The tomb building is an incredible sight with very detailed architectural decorations and is a great place to spend an hour or two walking around viewing the level of detail found in the building. We really enjoyed our time exploring Delhi and were very grateful to Sunil for getting us around town and helping us to learn the history of each place we visited.
Thank you very much for your lovely feedback. We wish you to see again with us.
