Private Family-Friendly Guided Tour & Art Workshop - Rome

We had a wonderful time during the museum experience! AJ guided us through the modern art museum, teaching us about different types of art genres. After each genre we would stop and do our own take on the genre. My 6 year old really enjoyed the experience, looking at the art and making her own. Perfect way to spend the afternoon!

AJ was fantastic! This is our favorite tour in Rome with grandchildren 9 and 15. We learned about art, saw work by masters, and got to use our own creativity. AJ was very knowledgeable and shared her enthusiasm well. I consider myself the opposite of artistic, and even I found a creative spark. That’s kind of miraculous! We will always remember it. (Also consider, it’s air conditioned and doesn’t require a walking marathon. You can’t beat that in Rome in a heat wave.)

We had such a fun, unique experience with AJ at the Modern art museum. We were in Italy in July with 4 kids and they all (ages 11, 9, 7, and 5) loved this experience. AJ did such a wonderful job teaching us about the art we were looking at and created a fun experience of recreating our own art pieces. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with kids wanting a little relief from the heat and crowds and getting such a personal experience. The art we created is such a special souvenir for us from this trip. And AJ went above and beyond, recommending restaurants for us to visit. AJ was amazing! We are a family of 3 with an almost 6 year old. She kept everyone engaged and was so amazing to our daughter. Her activities were fun, she answered questions, and showed us specific art pieces. She is very engaging and really helps the kids enjoy the museum. I was very impressed and would highly recommend this tour. This has been our daughter’s favorite activity and the adults loved it as well.

So great! This is an incredible way to introduce kids to art history/education. Our family of 4 ( 6 and 11 year old girls) loved this experience. AJ is very knowledgeable and she knew how to engage both of our daughters. The hands-on art projects were educational and fun for the girls, but mom and dad as well! Our family arrived a bit late due to unanticipated travel complications and AJ was so patient. She went out of her way to ensure we got the most out of our experience! We would absolutely book another tour with AJ.

Such a wonderful family experience in Rome! AJ has an amazing way of turning the city into a playful “art lab” where kids stay engaged the whole time—and parents genuinely enjoy it too. The animal-spotting mission was a huge hit (our kids were on a full-on treasure hunt mode), and the stories AJ shared along the way made famous landmarks like the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon feel even more special. The stop at the cat sanctuary was the cherry on top—pure joy! We also loved the creative art activity at the end: relaxed, well-organized, and a perfect way for the kids to turn what they’d discovered into their own little masterpieces. We left smiling, inspired, and with souvenirs we actually made ourselves. Highly recommended!

We attended the child art workshop in Rome and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was warm, inspiring, and perfectly organized for children to explore their creativity. The instructors were patient, friendly, and made every child feel confident and proud of their artwork.
