We had a wonderful day with Petito. He was a gracious host and excellent driver. Our picnic was perfect, and a very romantic way to celebrate our anniversary. We also had some of our favorite wines of the trip. We never felt rushed, and really relaxed and enjoyed the day! I even mentioned missing fresh figs, and Petito even stopped to find me fresh figs and other local fruit along the drive. It will be a treasured memory.
Ana really made the Douro Valley come alive for us! She had lovely viewpoints selected for gazing and photo taking while driving down to Pinhao. Our riverboat cruise was exceptional - a wonderful mix of information and time to soak in the natural beauty. Lunch beat our expectations for service, good wine, and excellent food. The coffee on the terrace was a perfect conclusion. But only to the meal - following that we toured and tasted some lovely Douro Valley port at an estate. What a great experience. Again, Ana drove us, engaged with us, and filled extra time with little bonus sights we would never have seen on our own (hundred year old cork tree? Unreal). Can highly recommend!
Had a super day going to Douro valley with lovely boat tour. 4x4 in the vineyards was amazing. Beautiful picnic lunch then wine/ port tasting. Petitio was a great guide - helpful and friendly. Would recommend this trip.

We had a wonderful tour, and Joao is an excellent guide and driver! He was able to inform us about the history of the Douro valley while getting us to some incredible views that were off the beaten path. We would recommend his for any adventure you are interested in experiencing!
Wife and I could not have had a better day. Our guide, Ana, was superb! We loved her sense of humor, attention to detail, patience for stopping to take endless pictures, and pointing out historical reference points, especially about Ms. Ferreira (sp?). Greatly enjoyed the wine/port tasting in the Douro and the views at the picnic spot were a delight. Highly recommend if you are interested in going, that you request Ana, she only speaks five languages. SMH, so jealous:)
This was a very unique experience taking a 4x4 jeep to see the Douro Valley. Our guide Pedro was not only knowledge, but also personable. He kept us laughing the whole time. The winery they selected for the tour was absolutely beautiful. This was my first time trying port wines, and I was shocked when I liked them all. Honorable mention for the great picnic that was provided by Girls of Douro (GoD). It was so yummy!

My son and I did the Duoro Valley 4x4 trip with Ana and it was the highlight of our trip to Porto. Ana is an excellent tour guide and an excellent driver and she really made this experience special. She stopped along the way to let us get the best pictures. She took us to a beautiful spot to eat a delicious lunch she had prepared. Then she took us to an amazing winery where we tasted outstanding wine. I highly recommend doing this tour with Ana. Her knowledge and passion really showed.
