Loved this tour! The wineries were beautiful and the lunch was delicious! Alex our guide was so personable and engaging with each of the guests and made the trip to and from the valley very enjoyable.
Our tour guide Carlos Daniel was very attentive and welcoming from the moment we got picked up. We got to experience two wineries, and a lovely river cruise. I would highly recommend this tour, as it was a small group of eight.
Fantastic experience at amazing wineries. Highly recommend
Alex was a great tour guide. He was funny & knowledgeable and helped the ride go by quickly. I loved that the winery stops were smaller family run wineries & lunch was delicious at the first stop. The hosts were great at both wineries. The second was super funny. The landscape was absolutely beautiful, enjoyed both on the boat cruise & on land.
Alexandre Costa (Alex) was the best tour guide I’ve ever had! He was punctual, accommodating, and provided some insightful information. This was the best tour I’ve ever experienced in Portugal!! 🇵🇹
Alex is a terrific guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable.
Great trip with a small, intimate group (8 people, ~10 hours). Carlos was an excellent guide and very knowledgable. Highly recommend.
Great tour with Carlos Daniels. He was humorous, professional, and has great relationships with others that he works with throughout the tour. The length of the tour was good. We booked the all day tour with boat ride and lunch. The atmosphere was great all the places and the staffs were patient and provided good history and informational about the wine and location. The only downside was that the portion of the wine was a bit lacking despite a small 8 person tour and the portions of the food wasn’t as big as other similar tours in Europe.
Our experience was just as we had hoped A nice overview of the region led by a knowledgeable and pleasant guide with a few other like-minded individuals.
Fabulous tour of the valley, our guide Alex was incredibly knowledgeable and great fun. Lunch was delicious and they were very generous with the wine. Caveat that they work with a bunch of different vineyards so no guarantee you'd get the same we did. Still was very interesting, lovely scenery, extremely relaxing boat ride. Oh and bring some cash as some small shops at the stops only take cash.
