Departing from the north, driving through the eastern coast and dry desert-like land, arrive at another traditional village, Megalochori, located in the island's interior. Stroll the narrow pathways, and capture the lovely tiered bell towers found on the way. This settlement is made of hundreds of tiny whitewashed houses with elegant architecture, beautiful blue-domed churches, and underground cave dwellings. In this picturesque and non-touristic environment, you will delve into the local slow-paced culture.
Next, head to the most famous beach on Santorini, the Red beach, a remarkable natural wonder, and get the opportunity to take amazing pictures of the volcanic scenery and the reddish cliffs.
