Private Chapultepec Castle Tour - Best Rated

We had a great time and learned so much. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. 10 out of 10 would recommend this experience.

This was my absolute worse experience on Viator. It was my first day in CDMX and I was excited about the tour. The guide Ross Maria gave me the name of the location which a gave to my uber driver. When the driver dropped me offf at that location, she wasn’t there. I reached out to her to help me connect with her and she kept dropping the wrong locations. I was following her directions and at one point she said “oh you’re here.!” I tried to find her since she said she could see me near. She then messaged me back again and said no I was still in the wrong location. Long story short, I chased here all over the park for TWO hours. Her final message was basically I hope you fine me because your two hours are almost up. I found that very inconsiderate given the fact that she didn’t make it easy to locate. While she was standing one one location, I was running all over a park that bigger than Central Park in NYC. There should have been an effort made to still do the tour. I ended up doing it alone, going back to my hotel and crying for the rest of the afternoon, I was so upset. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Rosa was an amazing tour guide! Without doing the tour, we would’ve missed out on so much of the castle. I highly recommend this tour!

Perla was a very knowledgeable tour guide, the was kind, warm and personable. Go before 12:00 before it gets really hot and earlier in your trip to get any add’l tips from the guide. Food in the park is not very good so make plans to eat before hand since the tour was 2 hours. It’s about a 10 min walk up the hill to get to the castle. No snacks / drinks allowed.

Our guide, Ismael, was wonderful. He was warm, pleasant, and incredibly patient throughout the tour. Most importantly, with several degrees in the humanities, he had an excellent understanding of exactly what we were interested in. We truly enjoyed our time with him, and the tour was both engaging and very informative. I would highly recommend Ismael to anyone interested in learning about a new culture!

Perla was our guide, we did a 2hr tour and it was just right. I've been here before, but she covered more things and gave a good background. Of course bring comfy shoes.

It is a little deceiving the fact that you have to pay the entrance to the castle. The guide was good

Arturo was an excellent guide. He was knowledgeable and engaging. The setting is beautiful, and when combined with a smart, friendly guide, we had a great time.

The guide was friendly and helpful. But she spoke a little fast especially with English not being her first language.

It is excellent service from start to finish. I highly recommend it. Arturo, our guide, is excellent, has extensive knowledge, and was very kind.
