Private Catamaran Tour on Marlin del Rey

Best day ever! Communication before tour was prompt and informative. Pick up was smooth. The captain and crew were friendly and accommodating. We had a group of 17 with lots of kids and they didn’t seem to mind at all. They helped kids get drinks, snorkel gear, and pool noodles. They helped them do a little fishing and even let them jump off the side of the boat into the water. Lunch was plentiful and delicious! Chicken, rice, black beans, chips and pico, and homemade cookies! The bar service was great! They made pina coladas, margaritas, rum slushies, gin and tonic, etc… The views were gorgeous, the water was warm, and we saw lots of sea life. You won’t be sorry if you book this trip.

We enjoyed the afternoon Marlin del Rey Catamaran Tour from Tamarindo. The trip itself was well done. About an hour out, then swimming and snorkeling for those that want, a very good buffet lunch with chicken, good open bar, and an hour back with arrival timed to coincide with sunset. We did not see any dolphins, or seals, or any other wildlife. No need to pay for anything on board, and no need to bring water. Overall we were very satisfied.

Awesome trip. Recommended to me by a local. Yuedy and Jorge, two of the deck hands, made the experience even better. They made sure everyone was safe, had unlimited drinks and tasty food (could even get seconds or thirds). Snorkeling was okay. Watched the beautiful sunset. 95$. Left at 1:30, got back around 6ish in January. Would recommend!

Our excursion on the Marlin Del Ray was fantastic. Ship to shore transportation was easy and stress free. On-board service was outstanding. Friendly staff, excellent service and terrific food! We had a great tiem and captured many amazing sunset pics!

Beautiful boat cruise and the sunset was epic, we enjoyed the snorkeling and lunch on board. They also played good music and were attentive to drink service.

We had a wedding celebration with all of our close friends on a private catamaran. We danced, sang, and laughed in the sun! The open bar was lavish with all the drinks and cocktails you could think of. We swam in the Pacific when it began to rain, so magical. It was a great way to start off the wedding weekend. We felt safe, the boat was clean, there was plenty of areas to sit and the staff was incredibly friendly. I would highly recommend.

Totally a wonderful time. The crew was excellent and the food was on point. I would recommend this tour for everyone. Just a completely great time. 5 stars

We were a group of 20 women traveling together and booked this sunset cruise. The transportation to the boat was punctual and comfortable, the crew was super friendly and professional, and the lunch and drinks were delicious! The snorkeling was fun and the water temperature was delightful. We had a significant rain shower on our way back but that didn’t stop us from having a really great time. Highly recommend this tour!
