Private Beach Animals Sanctuary

This was a great experience for my husband and I. We visited Roatan on a cruise. From my initial emails with Mishelle til the end of our day with Darnell, everything went perfectly. I was reluctant to book an independent excursion on our first cruise, but I am so glad we did. I asked Mishelle a bunch of questions beforehand. Her responses were immediate, informative and reassuring. We were able to choose which Animal Sanctuary (we wanted to go to AJs Monkeys and Sloths) to visit, and which beach to visit afterwards (we chose Brady's Cay). This tour company accomodated our requests with ease and kindness. The directions to find our driver after disembarking the ship were clear and easy to follow. We met Darnell on the other side of the pier gate, and what a joy she was! She safely and expeditiously took us to Ajs, and we were first to arrive at this perfect little operation in Roatan. We toured AJs at our own speed, visited with the animals and learned from several guides at the facility. Darnell was waiting to greet us as we finished and continued on to our visit at Brady's Cay. Again, she helped us get settled at this little island resort and was ready to return us to the cruise ship whenever we were ready to depart. We were sad our day trip to Roatan was over- but we will certainly be returning and will happily use MJ Tours and Attractions (and request Darnell as our tour guide) in the near future.

I found MJ Tours while researching tour groups for our upcoming cruise to Roatan, and I am so happy I did! Michelle and her team are amazing. From the moment I reached out, she responded right away and was very helpful and informative. This gave me peace of mind as it was the first time we were traveling with our 3 kids in a foreign country. When we arrived, it was pouring rain and windy! I was nervous we would not be able to enjoy our beach day, but when I reached out to them, they assured me that they can adjust and take us on a city tour instead. Thankfully, the weather cleared up, and we enjoyed the beach, which is incredible. The animal sanctuary is incredible and a must-do. TJ was our personal driver for the day and is awesome!! He shared so much history/info on the island as he drove us around. He stayed with us at each stop and gave us some great tips to enjoy our time on the beach. I highly recommend MJ Tours. They are professional, experienced, and, most importantly, friendly and caring!

Darnell with MJ Tours and Attractions was amazing! We couldn't have asked for a better tour guide! She shared so much about the island while driving us to and from Brady's Cay. We loved every minute of it! The water was clear and calm. Tons of lounge chairs. We had nachos and garlic butter shrimp and the food was delicious! We definitely recommend visiting Brady's Cay and request Darnell as your tour guide! It made it even better that we got to try some of her homemade key lime pie!

I have visited Roatan for mission trips many times and had the opportunity to take my grandchildren on a cruise that would visit the island. We chose MJ Tours to take us to see the sloths, monkeys, iguanas, and have beach time at Brady's Cay. From the time we exited the port until we were returned promptly back to the ship, Erick and Kayla were awesome to spend the day with and catered to everything our group of 8 needed! I definitely recommend them to anyone that wants to try an excursion not related to their cruise ship!
