We had a wonderful time with Brendan . His knowledge of history, the area and the cuisine was impressive, but more importantly he brings a soulful appreciation to culture. He delivers an informative, personal and fun experience.
Brendan had us engaged from the minute we met him. He shared with us his journey to Spain and why he loved living here! As we walked around off the beaten path, we learned many interesting facts about our surroundings. The wine tasting was so amazing we ordered a case! I would encourage everyone I know to book this activity with Brendan!
Brendan is a lovely, smart, informative and fun guide. He wanted to be sure we had a great time and got the most out of our visit with him. We had great pastries, learned interesting things about Barcelona and had an exceptional cava and wine tasting. I cannot express how delightful our experience with Brendan was! He’s a gem.
Brendon is an absolute amazing tour guide we loved touring with him. His wealth of knowledge and historical sites he took us were amazing. Not to mention the fabulous pastry we had at a beautiful pastry shop. Also we bought delicious chocolate there. He also took us to a wine shop that we had a cheese and cava and wine tasting at. The owner of the shop Joanne was fabulous as well. Brendon has a lovely personality. It helps as a tour guide.
This was my first private wine tasting experience in Barcelona. I felt I had a great experience, and tried a variety of wines that I've not tried. I am a chocolate and wine lover, and I loved that some of the wine pairings were with chocolate! I would recommend it to those who really enjoy the private experience!

This was a highlight of our trip to Barcelona. It was so much fun. There was no need to drive to a winery. The experience was brought to us. All our questions were answered. Very good option for those looking to discover wines and different locations in Spain. The sommelier, Joan, offers different types of wines (cava, white and red) from different regions of Spain, pairing with different types of cheese. It was definitely worth a lot!

Was absolutely blown away by this tour. Brendan was our tour guide who showed us around the Roman and Gothic quarters of Barcelona before taking us to visit the oldest candy and pastry shop in the city, and finally to an incredible wine bar: Aguita. At the pastry shop we had the chance to sample fresh candies made from honey and a traditional sugar pastry with a cream filling. The sweets were good, but loved the experience in the shop even more. Next we headed over to the winery where we were greeted with a brief history of Spanish wine dating back to the Romans and the various regions in the area. We were heading to Portugal so we even talked about the Dao and Douro valleys during our time there. The wine shop owner is an amazing host and did a great job selecting two red wines and two cavas for us to try. He paired this with a tasty cheese, meats, and nuts plate. After over an hour of chatting and laughing, he surprised us with handmade chocolates which paired perfectly with the wines. We left with two wines in tow and hope that they soon start distributing to the US!
