Private Arrival Transfer from Phuket Airport to Hotel (SHA Plus)

After we collected our luggage we headed to exit 3 as we had received a message to meet our driver there the day before. Found my name on a sign at one of the operators. A friendly young lady who asked us to wait while the driver was retrieving his vehicle. Met a lovely man who drove us to the entry to our hotel at Patong Beach, just over an hour drive. Well worth the air conditioned passenger transit van with plenty of room for comfort.

I have used Viator before and have had all great experiences except this time was just ok. We made it to hotel but the airport transport wasn’t as smooth as could be. I texted when we landed. Went to gate 2 as instructed passing through gate 1. (Did not see a person with a sign with my name on it) Waited over 20 mins then texted if she was here and we were waiting at gate 2. Finally received message back showing a sign with my name so I went looking and person was at gate 1. Driver arrived and we were on our way. Transport vehicle smelled of smoke.

Didn’t wait that long. It was easy to meet with the pick up. Driver drove safely and dropped us off. Basically it was just a simple pick up and drop off.

Professional service. Staff was on time and very helpful. Staff spoke English and was very courteous and made me feel very safe.

Horrible. Driver was late and at the wrong terminal. When contacted, staff was rude and talked down to me. They also seem to only have mini buses, even for 1 person transport, be prepared to sit in an uncomfortable mini bus. Took 1.5hrs for a 1hr trip, plus waiting time, took me more than 2hrs to reach my destination.

Very easy and quick to find once collected bags. Great driver and friendly and vehicle very clean. Highly recommend the service.

Easy transfer, signs are there and taxi is ready for you. I booked for pick up same day, the quickest booking I did was 2 hours before arriving at Phuket airport.

Booked this transfer from the airport to my hotel to simplify my holiday, should have bothered as the driver didn’t turn up. The tour operator WhatsApped me the day before to ask me for the flight number and the hotel I needed transferring to. I supplied the information in good time. Upon arrival in Phuket I realised the arrival instructions were out of date, it said for international arrivals to meet at gate3/4. This part of the terminal is currently being renovated so doesn’t exist currently. So I walked out the main entrance (gate 1) where all of the other drivers where, there wasn’t anyone with a sign with my name. I then walked a full lap of the airport arrivals area 4 times, confirming the gates3/4 doesn’t currently exist and I also confirmed my driver wasn’t there. I then phoned the WhatsApp number lots of times but no one answered. I tried messaging through Viatour and still nothing. I gave up, paid one of the taxi companies at the entrance to take me to my hotel, and found it was actually cheaper to do it this way anyway. Hopefully I get a full refund and an apology, not a nice way to start my holiday.
