Awesome Guide and a truly memorable experience!
Sarak made my solo trip to Siem Reap unforgettable. He picked me up right from the airport, and from that first ride it was clear he genuinely loves sharing his country's history and culture.
We started with sunrise at Angkor Wat, followed by the Small Circuit — his knowledge of the temples' history and architecture was incredible, and he paced the day perfectly so I never felt rushed. We also went out to Beng Mealea, and exploring those mossy, jungle-swallowed ruins with him was a completely different experience from the more polished sites — he clearly knew the place inside and out.
One of my favorite days was hiking to Kbal Spean to see the River of a Thousand Lingas — a spot I wouldn't have known to ask for, but Sarak suggested it and it ended up being a highlight.
What really set him apart, though, was that he didn't just stick to temples. He arranged for me to see the circus and a night at the Apsara theater, rounding out the trip with a real taste of Cambodian culture beyond the archaeology. He's flexible, easygoing, and clearly wants you to leave with more than just photos of temples.
I've attached a short video or him speaking directly — you can hear him in his own voice and get a feel for how knowledgeable and easygoing he is.
If you're headed to Siem Reap, ask for Sarak. Highly recommend.

The Perfect Angkor Experience with an Incredible Guide
As someone who is a museum CEO who teaches adjunct history, I can say that Sarak made this tour an absolute 10/10. He struck the perfect balance between professionalism and fun, making the entire experience feel both seamless and memorable. As a solo traveler who’s usually more comfortable behind the camera, I especially appreciated having someone who not only offered to take photos but turned out to be a fantastic photographer.
His knowledge of both Hinduism and Buddhism added so much depth to the temples—it wasn’t just sightseeing, it was truly understanding what we were seeing. He also chose an excellent spot for breakfast, which was a perfect start to the day and a great way to experience local flavors.
And the small touches didn’t go unnoticed—cold towels infused with eucalyptus oil during the hottest part of the day were a lifesaver.
If you’re visiting Angkor, do yourself a favor and book with Sarak. You’ll leave with great memories, great photos, and a much richer understanding of the history.

Wonderful informative day with Sarak
We had a wonderful day with Sarak starting with a beautiful sunrise over Angkor Wot and an explore around the temple itselt. Moving on to the most amazing breaktast, then a bike ride through the jungle to Angkor Thom. Next we cycled to Bayon temple, and on to a lovely lunch followed by a trip to the floating river. Sarak was extremely knowledgable, sharing the history of each temple and Cambodia itself. We were so well looked after by Sarak and his lovely driver. Continuous cold water and cold face towels. The day was made even more special by his incredible photographic skills throughout the day, which he shared with us, and meant we could relax and take in the scenery. Thank you for the best day and sharing your passion and knowledge of your beautiful country

Great experience visiting Angkor with Sarak
I had a great time visiting the Angkor temples with Sarak as tour guide! He tailored the program over the three days to fit my wishes and made me discover places that I would not have known of without a guide. The visit comprised the Angkor Wat, Ta Phrom, Bayon and many other temples, as well as a floating village on the Tonle Sap lake and local market in the Siem Reap region
I strongly recommend choosing Sarak when visiting Angkor and Siem Reap!
