The day will start with a drive by the Sorrento Coast. After about a 45 minute drive, we'll arrive at the ruins of Pompeii, the first stop on this breathtaking day tour where you will have the opportunity to see one of the most important archeological sites in the world!
Pompeii was part of an ancient Roman city destroyed and buried by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 A.D. Either licensed guides can be arranged ahead of time (additional cost) or you can visit the site on your own. However you choose to explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will be in awe as you see the remnants of this 1st century city which offer some insight into the Roman life that came to a premature stop there on 24 August AD 79.
After this amazing historical experience you can choose to continue our tour to Herculaneum or visit a local family Winery located at the foot of Mt.Vesuvius

Great Private Driver Along the Amalfi Coast
We had a great experience with Vinny as our private driver from Ravello to Sorrento. He stopped with us in Amalfi and Positano along the way, which made the drive much more enjoyable and gave us a chance to see more of the coast.
Vinny was very friendly, courteous, and especially thoughtful about the members of our group who get motion sick on the winding roads. He was also very knowledgeable about the history of the Amalfi Coast and was happy to answer any questions we had during the drive.
Overall, we really enjoyed our time with him and would definitely recommend Vinny to anyone looking for a friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating driver in the area.

Private transfer from Rome to Sorrento
We booked a Van service from Rome to Sorrento. Vinny our driver showed up on time with a shiny Mercedes Van. The van was very clean and spacious. Vinny was a professional tour guide with lots of information about the area. I highly recommend this car service with Vinny.

Great Family Ride
Vinny was the best driver we had our whole trip in Italy!!! He drove us from Sorrento to Naples, with a stop at Pompeii on the way. He even booked us a tour guide for the Pompeii trip. We would absolutely recommend his services. It was like sitting on a car ride with a family member who had extensive knowledge of the area.
