Our family of five (with three adult kids aged 26, 21, and 18) thoroughly enjoying every aspect of our excursion that included the Tet Paul nature trail, mud baths and waterfall. Emmanuel was our guide and was without a doubt the best tour guide we have experienced in years of travel. Emmanuel picked us up promptly from our resort and was so kind and interactive with every member of our family. From our first stop to get fresh coconuts from a street vendor, to our hike at Tet Paul nature trail, to the mud baths and waterfall, Emmanuel was so kind and knowledgeable about the history and flora and fauna of St. Lucia. He was also literally our personal photographer for the day as he took so many pictures of our family throughout the day, especially in the mud baths and waterfall where we could not easily take our phones. He also took us to a beach in Soufriere that was not on the list of locations for the tour because our resort had a lot of seaweed and he wanted to truly experience the best St. Lucia has to offer. We truly felt that we were immersed in the St. Lucian culture for the day and never felt rushed at any time throughout the day. I cannot recommend Discover Soufriere and Emmanuel enough. They truly made our stay in St. Lucia special and unforgettable!
We had the best time on this tour! It was great to do three of the more outdoorsy sites in Saint Lucia, all in one tour. And our guide, Marcein, was amazing and provided us with a lot of information about life in Saint Lucia and the history. His hospitality and kindness really made for a great day.
Amazing trip. Would highly recommend. Great sights to see and awesome experience. Tour guide even took many photos for us.
Our driver, Peter, was excellent. Safe, personable, and accommodating. Gave history and background of what we did and where we passed by. The hike was fun, the waterfall refreshing, and the volcano interesting.
Peter was a wonderful driver/tour guide. He navigated the roads safely, gave us a lot of information about the island, and was with us for the hike, mud bath, and waterfall (in fact, he even painted us for the mud bath!). The hike was amazing. I am not an experienced hiker, but it was at a very easy pace, the guide at Tet Paul waited for us, and we were given walking sticks. Just hold on to the railings and take your time, and you'll be fine. Beautiful view that's absolutely worth the walk! The mud bath was a. new experience, and was a little messy, but it was surprisingly relaxing and made my skin feel smooth afterward. Just make sure to not stay in the mineral water for too long, and make sure not to put mud near your eyes or lips. The waterfall was a little crowded because there was a cruise ship that went to visit there, but it was refreshing after the mud bath. Worth the experience!
Overall a great day and a wonderful guide- Zack. Waterfall was a bit overly touristy but worth a brief stop for the experience. Bring towels as the tour company neglected to mention that they would not provide them.
We had a wonderful experience with Zach as our guide. The excursion included a beautiful hike, a mud bath, and a waterfall visit. Everything was very well organized Zach took care of the entrances, brought drinks, and helped us avoid long lines. We also had a good dîner near the beach. He shared many interesting local spots and recommendations, including a stop to buy local cherry bread. He was also great with our 6-year-old daughter and took many beautiful photos for us. Highly recommend Zach excellent guide and an unforgettable experience.
This tour was fantastic and well organised. Our driver, Peter, was really helpful and patient as we were travelling with our 2 year old. Three amazing sites and lunch was delicious with beautiful views. Would highly recommend!
We had a great time on this excursion. The private portion of it was awesome, as we were able to ride in a smaller vehicle and not a large tour bus. The stops are great. Tet Paul is a great hike that provides some incredible vistas. While it is not overly strenuous, if you have mobility concerns then this is not for you. The trail is full of steps and rocks, and while we were great with it, it may not be for everyone. The view of the Pitons was great, and we loved the hike. The next stop was the mud baths. We enjoyed this but I would encourage you book an earlier trip so you can get to the mud baths before they get busy. During busy season (Nov-May), the cruise ships send busses of people here and it can get very crowded. If you arrive before noon, you should be ok. Next up was a short drive to the waterfall. This was fun and cold, but as with the mud baths it can get busy. The waterfall area is small, so if really busy then lots of people are going to be waiting for the perfect picture. Finally, we had a lunch on the water at a local restaurant. The food was good..Creole based with chicken or fish options. Our driiver was incredible. She helped with local knowledge, helped with taking pictures, and was very kind and friendly. In all, it took us about 4 hours total for all the stops.
The Tet Paul tour was unforgettable with breathtaking views, a rejuvenating mud bath, and Mora was an exceptional guide. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience feel personal and seamless. Highly recommend Discover Soufriere!!!
