Ria de Alvor Nature Reserve
Passage through the fishing area of Alvor, where all local uses and customs will be explained as well as a guided visit to the museum saves lives of Alvor
Fortaleza de Santa Catarina
After a pass through the beautiful city of Portimao we will visit our fortress built in 1621 to protect the Portuguese sailors from other pirates, will also be decriminalized all the same charms as well as their secrets.
Igreja de Ferragudo
In Ferragudo another picturesque fishing village with 500 years of existence, we will visit the river area, the local church as well as a beautiful view over the castle of São João do Arade with a stunning view over the Arade River.
Silves
Before arriving at Silves, the oldest Algarve city conquered by the Moors in 1189, we passed through the salines of the arade, through the Harvad vineyard where the whole process of this vineyard with Phoenician origins and the beautiful oranges of this rural area will be explained; after such views and time to take the castle assault and observe this imposing construction.
Passadicos Barranco do Demo
Here is the so desired incursion all over the ground to reach the Demo barracks and its suspended bridge 20 meters from the ground, a challenging attraction for the most daring / brave in the beautiful mountainous town of Alferce.
Alferce
Arrived at the Alferce and time for a magnificent lunch mirroring well the traditional Portuguese cuisine and its tastes, it will also be served as an entrance a gorgeous tasting of the local black pig, after our meal and time to taste the famous traditional Medronho liqueur of our serra.
Monchique
Since we are in the Monchique mountain range we will visit this famous village, the most typical serrano village of the whole Algarve with its uses and customs. We will also observe the cork this Portuguese product so appreciated by the world as well as all the products conceivable with this one, all this accompanied by a good dose of stunning views.
Monte Foia
The cherry on top of the cake and the Foia a pleasant place about 902meters of altitude from where we can observe practically half of our Algarve coast. Time also to observe/acquire local and national crafts. Finally the inevitable return to your accommodations and here ends this adventure of full heart.

Fabulous overview of what the Algarve has to offer.
We had a fabulous day. Nonu was the perfect host and it was great to see the Algarve beyond the big hotels and beaches. So many highlights including the museum in Alvor, the Phoenician winery and the traditional villages. We booked this tour to get an understanding of life in the Algarve was about and we weren’t disappointed. Thoroughly recommend and thank you Nonu for a wonderful day in your company. X

Great way to spend a day
Absolutely brilliant. If you are lucky enough to get Antonio as your driver and guide you are in for a great day . Was given a short briefing at the start of how the day ahead would go. Coast in the morning then included lunch and mountains in the afternoon. All this was achieved and more, coupled with Antonios knowledge and passion for his local area made it a special day. Lunch was in a local restaurant/ bar, "Bom Retiro" was a real treat. Sitting and eating with the locals and the Sardines amazing, . Service from the owner and her staff was first rate, and local wine to wash it down. If you want to see places away from the main tourist coach trips this definitely ticks the box's .

Magnificent discovery
What more can I say than BRAVO and THANK YOU to the guide Antonio who helped us discover a completely different side of this beautiful region that is the Algarve, away from the touristy side of the coast. He shared a cultural richness with us, a real pleasure to listen to all his stories about a country he respects and proudly carries in his heart. We were supposed to get a...
We were supposed to get a private tour of the Algarve region & local lunch but our tour guide told us we were going to do a little off-roading to get to our lunch & as we went down this dirt road we hit a bump & when the vehicle landed the vehicle had a flat!! We waited an hour in the heat in the middle of nowhere to get a replacement vehicle. After lunch our tour guide said he was going to take us to a lookout point & when we stopped there we pointed out to the guide that the vehicle was losing water…the radiator was overheating!! Needless to say the rest of the tour was spent driving slower than normal so as not to cause the vehicle to overheat!! The tour guide cut out a good portion of the rest of the tour out because he had to make up for the time lost with the vehicle issues. Disappointed is an understatement!! The tour did not meet our expectations at all!

We reslly feel soery for this issues; on a full day tour it was kit suposed to go offroading but the guides always want to provide the maximum as possible. The repalcement car was overheathing because it just came from the workshop with no cap on the radiator not oyr fault. We will assume all the .responsabilities for so . Excuse us for all that situation but as you must understand nit pleasent for nobody. Thanks for everything.

Best tour we’ve ever been on
The best tour we’ve ever been on. Nuno was so full of knowledge on everything we visited which really made this trip amazing. He went above & beyond right from the start of our trip today. He had my 11 year old captivated with his knowledge of all the different places we visited & things we saw along the way. I couldn’t recommend going with this company enough. We stopped off for a beautiful lunch & not once did we feel rushed despite us causing a delay to the trip starting, Nuno didn’t skip a bit, made sure we still got to see everything on the itinerary. He also took lots of pictures for us so we have lots of family pictures which is rare.
