Extraordinary Private Tour of Dublin

Whenever I'm in a new city I try to hire a guide to help me understand what I'm seeing. James is one of the best I've had. I told him I was uninterested in the usual tourist sites. Instead, I wanted to understand why Irish culture endured despite brutal English colonialism in Ireland, and many generations of separation in its diaspora? And how does the shape of Dublin reflect that endurance? James took me on a full day stroll, bringing a few hundred years of Dublin history to life, and showing how Dubliners have used the city itself to pass along their stories to the next generations. Extraordinary.

A really nice tour with James

We had an amazing trip with James. He showed all different hidden gems of Dublin, just what we asked for. James is knowledgeable and know his Dublin. Thank you for some really good tip about music pubs playing traditional Irish music, not like the pubs in Temple bar.
